About the upcoming MVP

The only people that complain about MVP are the people who are jerks. Because jerks generally want everything, and they won't be able to be a jerk anymore if they want the stuff from MVP awards. It's as simple as that.

I agree though that it's sad that we need this kind of incentive to get people to act civilly.

IF everyone behaves and plays nice... The 2 DPS vote for each other in a show of commiseration and/or solidarity, the tank and healer vote for each other in mutual appreciation... perma-tie.. in which case i assume MVP will be randomly assigned? Which actually WILL allow this to work because douchery will negate the natural order.. and everyone has an equal chance.. as long as they don't rock the boat.. pretty well thought out i think

Hardly. I'd just much rather enjoy doing mid-level content with my LS/FC instead, because we tend to piss around and have fun by default, sorry if me wanting to enjoy myself with my friends makes me a jerk.

I absolutely loath going into the Derpy Finder solo. That's not to say I don't occasionally, I just really hate it... People being overly friendly to the point of being obnoxious, in order to try and obtain MVP really isn't going to improve my opinion of it, either.

Are you seriously asking that? I don't need a cookie every time I do something good or act like a decent human being. I can see perfectly fine thank you very much, and dangling carrots to try and force a good community sounds silly, farfetched and again, hilarious.

I understand what you mean, but how else are you going to get the douche bags to do what you want? Force them to be nice and they get a reward. Whether it's being fake or not, as long as the run is completed without problems ("trolling"), then I don't mind giving a douche bag a point. The people who are already nice people don't have anything to complain about. If you are already nice in general, then you won't have a problem. Just be yourself and you get mountz. When a douche acts nice, he gets a cookie.

Except it stated pre-mades weren't eligible only duty finder match ups.

I dont understand what you're trying to say. I'm saying that you will be helping randoms in those duties that would normally have a hard time finding people to join since they are so far behind. Never said anything about making pre-mades.

I know I'm going to have to switch it up, here is the thing though: It is very unlikely I'm going to enjoy doing so... This system is one which is actively going to have me doing something I dislike and don't enjoy, thus it is objectively bad.
