The only way I can see to actually make gil is to level all gathering and crafting classes to 50 to supplement each other. XD Otherwise, things cost too much gil.

anyone else?

You're not really going to make big amounts of gil so early in the game.. Just keep bringing in the small profits to add it all up. to me, Spirit bonding is more beneficial than crafting in terms of profit at the moment.

Well there are so many people with millions of gold and I'm sure some of them got it legitimately. I was hoping they could share some of their knowledge.

...Black market.....
Ok..that might not be a good idea..
At least for me, I used to gather mats and gave them to my LS mates.
After they got to 50, basically free gears to materia and sell.
Takes a long time to see the results, but useful.

Gil seller
Edit:
I think you will not get so many advice:
1/ If there was a job that allowed you to make loads of money, everybody would do it
2/ if such high money job existed, I am not sure people who are benefiting from it right now would share the tips on the worldwide board and shoot themselves in the foot
So try a bit of everything, see what you like the most, become and expert in it and you should find something to make some money I guess

I've found that making HQ gear as a weaver, for tradeskills, to be very lucrative. Tradeskillers need to upgrade their gear quite often while skilling up, and go through new gear very fast, as well as convert souldbound gear to materia. Anyways, Weaving is very profitable when you craft HQ DoH gear.
