An Official Notice is NEEDED - why did SE suspend those with high ammounts of Gil.

I so hope there's some official word on this on Monday and hopefully the people who were wrongfully banned get reimbursed for it. I changed my subscription to entry level now because of all that's been happening lately. It's not only the game this time but the people that aren't running it properly that seem to be contributing to the problem. Wonder if SE made enough from sales alone to be happy since it seems a lot of people aren't going to be subscribing much longer.

I not a millionair but i get suspended too. I just notice something weird before they suspend my account, All my materia and HQ item sold and i get almost 200k where i never made that much before. And at midnight my account got suspended. I only got only 90-100k not that many but still my account got suspended. No e-mail from SE after i get suspended, only e-mail about thier veteran reward. Cant use CS live chat because weekend so i cant inquire more about my suspended account.

While you may not believe me, I know I have done nothing to deserve my suspension.

They must have done something along the lines of what people are claiming (e.g. blanket/automated bans), as most of us crafter's / Gatherer's that got to 50 early and made a large amount of gil on the market were suddenly banned at the same time on the same day.

As such it is wrong for SE to keep us in the dark.

I'm sure many will be banned, but it's the legit players who are really being screwed by this.

I know my account will be un-suspended, but we want an Official word on when this is likely to be.

SE didn't send you a suspension notice with a reason given for why your account was suspended? Or there isn't anything informative shown when you try to log in?

I'm sorry but if you are putting crafted items on the market board for 1 mil+ who do you think is going to buy it? The gil sellers/buyers. More than likely you had set the prices so high in hopes a gil buyer will purchase. I think this is what SE was looking at. The game has been barely out a month. People should not have 10 mil+ gil already. If you do more than likely you RMTed or sold items to someone who did. Stop cheating and stop catering to people who cheat and you won't get suspended/banned, simple as that.

Ehh I don't know about that.

I hit 30 a week ago but my slow-ass friends were 20 levels behind me so I took to leveling DoH and DoL classes while they caught up. In that one week without even really knowing what I'm doing I've made roughly 600k. I can imagine that people who have been focusing heavily on said classes since launch would be somewhere in the mid 4m-5m+ by now, it's pretty reasonable.

That being said, there's something fishy about this story :P

Are you serious with this post? The level 70 gear require over 1000 tombstone to craft and multiple unspoiled gathering nodes. If you find the gear for less than 1 million gil you are getting a bargain. Not to mention the time it takes to level a crafting class to 50 and acquire the gear to craft these items.

Gil sellers don't level characters to 50 and botters don't run these dungeons.

It does happened to me once before but I found a way to fix it myself
But I may not have your 100% answer, but here's what I think:
1. Someone tried to login your account and tried too many times of your password wrongy from other country (very high chances)
2. Your account maybe got hacked (if you always use same ID and PW in other games, high chances)
3. You maybe got the money from Gil sellers (random chances)
4. You maybe lying right now that you are innocence (I don't know :P)
