depends on your crafting gear and what other cross class abilities you have. based on my gear and limited cross class options, ~80% was the norm for that particular item unless I get an excellent condition popping up.

Even now that I have cross class abilities, it certainly doesn't take me 2 minutes to get to 100% hq chance.

I have most of the useful ones. There's a very slow but sure method you can use to almost guarantee you HQ - roughly 60 out of 62 of my last profit synths (mostly 1star synths) have been HQ.

HQ everything while levelling up new crafts too, at least post level 20 or so.

No gambles involved and it's slightly on the slow side, but 100% HQ rate all the things!

when i was leveling and used DF for dungeons i runed the game in window mode and watched youtube/films in window mode as soon something was ready i was in. you can drag the df window into a corner so you can see it when it pops while you doing other stuff

It'd be nice if the 'pop up' timer was increased to two minutes. I've gone to grab a drink, answer the door or attend to another short errand and literally missed hitting 'accept' by mere seconds upon my return to the game.

Actually, healers and tanks got heavy waiting times, too. Serverplaces are getting rly rare these days..

I usually try to just fight random mobs/ hunting log/ or levees. Levee's don't always work though because if you "commence" during one you fail the levee. If only you could pause the levee or something. *shrug*

I'm on PS3 so I really don't have the other problems, but I really don't understand why it takes SOOOOOOOO long. I'm DPS- I'm expecting a longer wait than healer or tank...but sometimes I'm waiting for 45 mins- 1 1/2 hour. Yeah!

Save your gear sets! Then it's just one click to fully gear up / change class! That'll save you SOME time, at least!

Then drag them to a bar, so it takes less than a second to change, if you aren't in combat.
