Yeah the RNG is killer in this game...
For one i wish the game didn't drop things for a class that is NOT in the party

thats that childish gimme everything now because i want it rather then earning mentality.
Hell make some gil and pay a top guild to run you though the stuff... i sell runs for titan all day most days i have made millions doing it. Instead of crying you didn't get a drop pay to have the relic made get better gear then sell runs for other people not capable of EARNING their gear.
Someone wanting to see an outcome for putting the effort in and attempting to earn their items is childish?thats that childish gimme everything now because i want it rather then earning mentality.

Go back to League of Legends.
Honestly I would say its more childish to assume everyone has the same opportunity you do. For someome with very limited playtime farming 450k gil would take considerably longer than 120 runs of ifrit.
The rng drop chance does not deny the children everything now, some get it now, while many work for it and never get it. I would not work for a job where there is a chance ill get paid for my work, a chance I won't, a chance I might get it but it might be in money from another country.
I'm fine enough with the loot system, but to call someone childish because they disagree with your views is, in my oppinion, childish.
RNG is earning, guys.
When I +9'd my first weapon in TERA by using a green, I totally felt like I 'earned' it.
No it's not luck. At all. Mage stuff like the book almost always drops and the bow, claws, and spear are nowhere to be seen. Drop rates are messed upIt's just bad luck. That's how MMOs work. Either tough it out or do something else. At least it's not like WoW where you don't see the drop and then have to wait another week before you can even attempt it again.
Unfortunately I'm in the same position as you, though I've probably done only half of your runs (only counting successful ones). It dropped the very first run I did but I rolled a 7 and the other DRG rolled a 77. Haven't seen it drop since. I have the BRD, SMN, and WHM weapons, all of which are level 1 for me and I'm not planning on leveling any of them any time soon. Best thing to do though, if you do keep on trying to get it, is to queue and level another class while waiting.
I obtained my harpoon and beak in the same day, killing Ifrit only 6 times. Half a day later I saw Titan's lance drop (lost the roll to a dragoon who died right after the heart phase) and obtained my relic 3 minutes later.
You're partially true about the books, but only because you're forgetting books are split between two classes. Of course they'll have a higher rate of dropping. Drops are still RNG based.
This guy's been trolling every post I've seen him on so far. He's got an elitist aura and way of talking that just pisses people off. And he's kind of an asshole to boot.
I assure you there's no conspiracy against any class. This is how RNG works.
Take my love, take my land, take me where I cannot stand. I don't care, I'm still free, you can't take the sky from me. Take me out to the black, tell them I ain't comin' back. Burn the land and boil the sea, you can't take the sky from me.
Don't bother, the GC weapon is good enough
Wow that's kinda shitty.. I ran Ifrit HM with my Bard for the first time by accident.. I was trying to queue for CM. Got my bow on first kill.
