A community worse than WOW's?

Yeah, I am not looking forward to the end-game community. I've never played WoW but it seems from what everybody is saying that they are a group that seems to take everything too seriously. I hope that I can just run everything with my FC so I don't have to deal with douches in the duty finder. Here is to hoping..

Seriously, though, it's not a community worse than WoW's... It's probably a concentration of the worst of WoW. I also suspect that a lot of the really rude ones are just trying to "beat" ARR before the subscription kicks in, and are even that much more intolerant of people who aren't in such an uncaring hurry. So in that sense, maybe a lot of them are some of the worst of f2p/b2p as well.

But even if there are 100 per game world, that's less than half a percent of the game's total population, by SE's numbers. So it's less about "community", and perhaps more about who you choose to associate with.

wouldn't happen if there were more dungeons worth running or primal battles yielded greater rewards

you could blame players, but it would be preposterous to suggest all of the blame should lie with them and not developers who were too lazy to add more than 2 endgame dungeons.

this would not have happened if amdapor speed run was not nerfed. well, maybe not. but surely the frequency in which it was occurring would be a very dramatic difference compared to now.

You guys are complaining about the wrong thing. SE made CM the most efficient way to farm Tomestones of Philosphy. The guys farming it are simply being forced to run a boring story dungeon (STORY dungeon) for something they want to gear up for end game on. SE forcibly merged the end gamers with a lot of people who just want to enjoy the story and a lot that are casual gamers. Don't blame the people for this, they are just trying to compete with others.

Last night was my first time doing Castrum towards endgame...I wanted to immerse in the story...but after I came out of the cutscene, everyone is gone.

It was horrible for me, I just rushed through the whole thing, I had no idea what I was fighting for.

I'm a big believer in that if you want to do speed runs, the queue in a premade group.

And to the people complaining about lack of options in gearing up at endgame, I doubt SE anticipated you guys trying to speed rush the content trying to "beat" the game before your subscription kicks in.

I agree some blame rests on the Devs, But maybe the split is 99% Player 1% Dev. I do the same dungeons as these folk, needing to grind the same amount of tomes, and I don't go full dickmode just because someone wants to enjoy a ~30/45 Second Cutscene.

So while it sucks we have maybe 2 Useful dungeons for endgame farming, its mostly just a**holes gunna be a**holes... Could have 10 dungeons and still find the same angry jerks in each of em.
