Hahaha sorry but that is so retarded. People playing a game actively discouraging advancement. Don't worry man they were just jealous and looking for excuses.

Rude people are so sad... I just met one as well in Wanderer's Palace. At King, he started saying I couldn't even handle 3 stacks of Grudge, as a tank, even though I had been the entire time. And finally he gave it the 4th and 5th, we wiped, he called us noobs, and left... Just before that, I told him I could easilly handle 3, and that it was the small ones that reached me, and killed me. He totally ignored that. Then the ranting started...

This game is still basically free to play. But you are always going to come up double zero at least once a night if you go into full DF parties. The anonymity of that situation just encourages people to be cruel.
Just report them.

If reporting them makes you feel better. But it is unlikely that any sort of action will be taken against them.

These same rude people are the ones who really pushed the issue that got the ability to do WP and AK speed runs removed from game (yes it was part it wasn't planned to be done this way, but a large part was the horrible treatment of newer 50's who didnt know the fights). These are the same people who are likely soon going to have CM changed in a similar way.
The way I see it, they will be the people who are going to force SE to add cross server blacklists and a vote kick, and until these functions are added and there is some type of punishment for acting like an a$$hat to others, many people will do it simply because they can and there is no down side. Oh your going to be that way, well blacklist (lossing the ability to run with those players again, minor but in some cases over time could be problematic) and kicked form the dungeon run (wasted time, no loot, no rewarded tomestones and likely a lockout from the DF, minor but enough to mkae many of the a$$hats we been seeing keep some stuff to themselves)
This is not somethign specific to lv50 also. Lastnight I ran Sasnasha (sp?) on my lancer as I need to get him leveled for blood for blood for my bard, and we had tank/healer who where on their first jobs and not that experienced skilled and some archer (guy has 2 classes lv40) and he was a total a$$hat to the other two, pulling and kiting everything around everywhere, getting pissed we didn't skip mobs in the leveling dungeon that give great exp, wouldn't give them any advice and flipped out when I told the tank that he shouldn't run around trying to take mobs back if the archer wanted to pull and tank because the archer needed to learn his role in the group and dieing is the only way it was going to happen (DPS pull hate they take mob to the tank not run around, still DPSing, making it near impossible to have the tank get it back).

These people are common in MMOs.
I think they will move on eventually, my suggestion is to ignore them and be above them. I have helped so many new tanks when I'm leveling my TMG or ARC or show DPS how the threat meter works. Sometimes I run into aholes and I deal with it unless I'm running as a tank then I make their life unpleasent.
Everybody needs to have a thicker skin because the success of this game is going to be on the helpful decent players and not the epeen players who will move on in a few months. Honestly they will be less for a few months because they will be playing GTA V.

best way to solve this is to join a FC and run Duengons with them. Most FC out there are very respectible and are not rude to others or to their own members
Welcome to the internet, my suggestion would be joining a nice FC and not pugging things.

The XI community was so good, but that is probably because it wasn't a hugely mainstream attraction. It didn't bring in all the CoD / Halo / WoW kids like XIV has. Now we have to deal with every 15 year old with a chip on their shoulder. Just report them. SE has a great track record of banning offensive players (even for relatively minor abuses).
