I wouldn't mind a small amount of tomes for special mission from the GC, nothing huge but some variety wouldn't go amiss.

It's been a few weeks and people are already complaining about the monotony of AK, its not a good sign.

Its really a shame because they created such a beautiful world and great dungeons. I really hope they consider these ideas. A part of me wishes they do not because if the game gets that much variety and extra fun/progression I fear I might not log off! :P

This is short sight friend.
"If the market changes so be it I say"= destroying the market for nothing. There's no way a crafter would be happy to have his market destroyed because you need a reason to kill trash mobs.

Where have you been? The market has been destroyed for crafters since 2.0 launched. There is no reason to even craft right now other then the relic stuff/melds currently.

And where do you get that vendor things are 4g? Gear for spiritbonds for the tier 3 materia is over 4k each piece when most of the materia doesn't even sell for that so you lose money trying to get the materia you need for your relic quest. Or you could buy the materia for 40k+ each since those are the only ones that sell for insane amounts.

Adding in gil for trash I agree with. I agree with HMs for all the dungeons to spread out people and unclog the instance servers so we don't have 1-2 hr Q times with a full party. I don't agree with tomes on trash although. Maybe like the few big guys giving 1-2 tomes is ok but for the most part gear should be some type of a farm. Meaning run the dungeons. A lot. Hell I'd even prefer it to be all drop gear and have the tome gear be a little weaker then the drops

Yeah, this has been a stupid problem of online games since I've ever played them. You create this whole world and then stuff people into 1 room. It's just counter-intuitive. Gotta think outside the box, but maybe that is too much to ask.

Not trying to flame you here but you say the dungeons aren't making you any gil but you are farming them for gil? And isn't doing the same dungeon over and over till you can do it autopilot kindof the same as crafting or gathering to actually make gil?

First. PVP is CONFIRMED and being added. So yes there is PVP and it will effect it. Greatly.
