Meh, I bet it gets better after their free month is up. People like that don't usually stick around when they have to pay to be jerks.

Yeah, and then they will be locked from using Duty Finder for 15 minutes....ive noticed its been happening alot lately...
ppl join dungeons with duty finder first thing they do is ask if 1st timers?
if theres a first timer in the party they leave instantly.... not a good thing in my opinion = = honestly at some point its every1s first time = = how they gonna learn or know what to do if more ppl start doin it <.<
Seriously, only 15 minutes? For ruining other people's dungeon. At least give them 1 hour penalty

Just for the record, not everyone who asks about first timers is going to leave. I'll ask every time so then if there is someone doing their first time, I know to explain any special mechanics, or wait for them to watch cutscenes before pulls.

People should select 'Join in progress' so that they can help people who have been abandoned
I will only leave a group for two reasons.
1. One player is trolling/afking or griefing. I don't have the time to waste on that kind of nonsense.
2. After many wipes, any feedback and advice I give to new players about the boss fights is ignored or is replied to with unneeded sarcasm/malice. I don't have time to waste on that kind of nonsense.
Before I leave I will always apologize and offer any of the DD that were not the source of my wasted time to regroup with me if they're on my server.
I have been joining dungeon raids to lvl up my conjurer and most of the i've been joining them when someone up and left. I have seen people complane about first timers or the tank is not doing what a tank should do.
Same here, ran it with everyone not knowing a thing about what to do. It was awesome. All the wipes at every new stage, with then saying "Okay, that's what happens then. Let's go again." We finished with about half an hour left, but no one raged, and people actually said it was what they hoped the game would be like, even with all the wipes. So i now laugh at anyone who quits after one death, especially if they mock people for being new to a dungeon.
same..went into wanderer palace..you're new? *walks backwards and exits the dungeon
Wanderer palace the so call hardest place is the Tonberry King, rest doesn't really prove a threat.. Plus it was only 1 new player, we were already teaching him to follow us (not speed run) when the big tonberry appears to chase
at least he wasn't the tank =/ so we waited for another DPS and he didn't mind

That was almost the the most fun I have had on this game is the SM Titan. Me and a Black Mage from our FC DF'd for a tank and healer and wiped several times because none of us knew the fight yet. (I like to try fights before I "research" them...if someone just tells me how to do it I don't feel like I am playing) We had some laughs and talked it through and you know what...we ended up doing just fine and it was a total BLAST...we really felt like we accomplished something. Same with Qarn...having issues for many runs failing and then when we finally beat it...it was just so awesome!
It is all about who you are playing with which determines how much fun you will have on the group content. If you play with a bunch of uptight elitist that cannot spare the time for a wipe or 2 because you "must be stupid if you don't have this fight down already" then you will not have much fun. If you play with some reasonable players that understand people need to learn the fight and get use to it then you are more relaxed and not so stressed out that if you make one mistake you will get black listed and never get to party with them again.
I wish everyone would be decent to each other and just chill out sometimes. I ran into some really mean people when my and some of my group were running Qarn and it was just bad....the tank was talking crap the whole time telling the white mage that they must be stupid to die from the curse...and was swearing at her and everything. Me and the Black mage from my FC stood up for the white mage and then we just left that jerk of a player...that is the only time I will quit on a dungeon is when someone is being a complete ass.

Ive only ever abandoned a dungeon in this game once.
Why? They let me die and totally forgot i was there.
EDIT - Make that 2. Tank didnt have a clue. Kept pulling trash and the boss to face the entire group, causing everyone to be faced with the boss' aoe. When the group moved away... the tank moved with the group keeping the group inside the aoe zone.
