    Things to look forward too: JSE, RSE(?) and AA

    It just occurred to me that with the introduction of the Dungeons in out up and coming June update we my (hopefully) see the introduction of new Job Specific Equipment or the XIV equivalent of Artefact Armour (which we've already had a teaser of).

    I absolutely loved the day I got my Gaudy Harness for my BST, it's one of my great FFXI memories - as is my linkshell banding together for the orc fight in Davoi for my WAR AA (we were all new players around level 40).

    It even got me thinking running around Vana'diel trying to find the spawned NMs to get my RSE (although as there are no stat variations between races in XIV there may well be no RSE).

    All of these are good memories, frustrating at times but overall very satisfying. These were some of the positives in FFXI that I hope can be transferred to FFXIV, possibly with the next patch - what do you think?

    AA= Artifact Armour

    JSE= Job Specific Equipment

    RSE= Race Specific Equipment

    Just in case anyone was wondering what those abbreviations were.

    They could still have RSE's right now our only RSE's are our undies.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.

    We can get RSE but JSE and AA will probably have to wait for the Job System. The current classes are too general to give them something specific.

    The current classes already have class Specific equip. They are called Weapons.

    I can only hope that bosses don't drop loot and drop tokens instead, the thought of loot drama, ninja looting and the rest of it is enough to put anyone off.

    I would rather get tokens and buy from a vendor in one of the cities or perhaps even the class guild.
