i guess it must be time for SE to add what all the other mmos have, faction grinds!

Gathering(DoL), Crafting(DoH), Making Gil, Make friends, Explore zones, (Go out to a movie, Watch TV Wait for next content patch.)
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
Op QQ more you got 1 class to lvl 50 and are crying about npthing to do you only played a small portion of the game. So try finishing the rest of the game before you claim that there is nothing to do or keep quiet whilst the rest of us play the game as intended.

This guy knows what it's all about. You could always go out and claim an area of wilderness as your own, slaughtering anything that would dare to trespass upon your newly acquired plot of land.
And since you might get tired of protecting your land-home from these vile beasts , you could invest in different shaped hats to let other passing by adventures know that you have a quest to offer them.
Eventually after repeating this process thousands of times your plot of land would turn into the new central hub for all max level characters, or other would-be pioneers, forcing you to once again set off to claim new land in far away areas.
Lame post is lame... if you're not having fun, play another MMO that you think will be fun. simple.

*imprints desk to forehead* yet another person rushing to 50 then whining theres nothing left to do... hurpdurp.
.
Except he didnt rush to 50, he just played to 50. Rushing would be a day or 2 (easily doable) We are now almost 3 weeks in.
Except he's not complaining there's nothing to do, he's saying there's no reason to leave town.
Love the White Knights. God forbid anyone say anything negative about the game or its design...
I agree, there needs to be more content situated in the open, such as NMs (non-fate, that actually drop decent/good gear directly...), NPC factions (and reputation grinds with real purpose).
My biggest gripe with the game at this point is the "token" system that so many people cried for in FFXI, and now Dev team actually think its the only way to distribute the best gear. The end-game in this game is like a Salvage II "plan" grind in disguise. That's not something I want to do again for the next several years. I hope it improves, but with this development team/company, I seriously doubt we'll see anything different (and if we do, it'll be too little too late as usual)

White Knighting or not, they have hopes on the game and see the positive in it, not to mention they give positive feedback to improve the game, not just whine endlessly about their own personal roadblocks.
Point of the matter is, there are plenty of things to do outside of the main cities, tons of classes to lvl which will require you to get out and explore. There are some people who just rush to 50 ( Let's face it, reaching 50 in a week or so is rushing, I am barely 30+ in 4 classes and I have tons of things to do), and then they complain there is no reason to leave the city!? THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU IN PARTICULAR TO LEAVE THE CITY! Personal opinions abound, everyone else have plenty of reasons to do that or not to.
I am sorry you see it this way, personally I find that there is plenty to do such as levelling all the other combat and crafting classes while fishing in the different areas to complete the fishing log, sometimes I even go gathering, though I do find gathering a tad monotonous I can do it while watching film or when I am to hung over :P .I currently have no reason to ever leave a major city at level50. I can instantly port to any dungeon I feel like, fates aren't worth doing at all, I don't have a use for seals. The only time I leave is to farm some material, gather some material, fish, or turn in craft leves. Now that I'm 50 alchemy/cooking I never have a reason to leave for leves.
The best part about levelling another combat class is that its different and as such though the dungeons are the same how you manage them is different and as such are not as repetitive, the bonus is that you become more versatile.
