    30 mins AFK is too long for a dungeon. There should be a separate timer for that. Everyone entering a dungeon party should be prepared to pay attention to the game for 90 full minutes if necessary. Someone may need to go AFK for a couple minutes (bathroom, etc...) But any longer than 10 minutes is too long.

    Whoa you posted an actual problem! I gave it a like but its going to be flooded to the 3rd page by everyone complaining that they cant speed run any more. You wanna post this in the dungeon forum too? may have a better chance of being seen there before its wiped into history by the community.

    Had a lancer named Joe Momma sit at the entrance of satasha and he just lotted on all the items as me, conj and the tank tried to finish the dungeon. We thought he was just afk until he got a chest item.

    Yeah if they don't have a kick feature they need something that combats this. i.e. it should kick a player if they go longer than 5 minutes without healing, buffing, or attacking. (not counting time spent in cutscenes).

    Should only apply to duty finder groups as well, and not pre-made groups.

    See, this is why I AM NOT AGAINST naming players who act like douches on forums. I figure if they are going to come in, lazy it up and let others do the work, they should get their name smeared all over public forums/game so others know not to group with them. I understand the DF does not show who you are grouping with until in the dungeon, but if you do a few pulls and notice them not helping, pretty fair to say they are afk'd. Furthermore, if it is a dps'er like a BLM, you can just take your other 3 party members and re-queue to get a non-afking dps.

    I don't like the kick idea... Atleast it should be disabled for story dungeons because nobody should be kicked just for wanting to see cutscenes.

    AFK timer won't be able to do anything, they just have to buff themselves, or move around occasionally, since they still have to check loots & pt status. Only a vote kick can do the job.

    And a DF blacklist as well... One of my friend got into a situation where 6 members of the full pt were from the same FC, & they decided to go afk chatting until 1 of the other 2 left the instance. Or another situation where 1 tank went afk in ifrit HM & when ppl left, he queued into the same room as them again, & not twice but 4-5 times...

    My friend got so raged he nearly quit the game until our FC decided to go with a half-premade group lol

    I think a votekick system would do wonders for Duty Finder PUGs. However, it should only be enabled 5 minutes after the dungeon fully starts in order to avoid kicking people because of cut scenes.

    Also it should require all other players to vote yes to it.
