Seriously, I know that huge FATE-farming groups that run around steam rolling FATEs get old, quick. But, barring that, there's often times when there aren't massive FATE rollers that run around and you find yourself and a few other people fighting to complete a FATE you just ran into. You roll around out in the open world, meet people and kill stuff. You're not constantly running the same linear dungeons tanking-and-spanking your way to the same mind-numbing end every time. FATEs are far from perfect, but they're a step in the RIGHT direction as far as I'm concerned. Even if dungeon queues were quicker and yielded more in every aspect, I'd still opt for FATEs.
Guys, there can be more to MMOs than dungeon queues. Trust me, I've seen it.
