Why are PC players being so stuck up to ps3 players?

As quite a dedicated console-only user, to be honest, who cares?
My one and only experience of PC gaming happened to be such a horrible experience that I'm happy to say I'm a console gamer, but at the same time I don't paint all PC gamers with the same brush.

I'm sure 95% of PC gamers are cool individuals but as with any social dichotomy (and I'm as surprised as you that someone this drunk can remember a world like 'dichotomy')
PC gamers have their share of assholes.

It doesn't make me hate PC gamers, it makes me feel sorry for the genuine nice chaps that have to put up with the branding. As such I will view each PC gamer as I experience them and not before.

I do realize that by posting this completely hammered drunk that I'm not doing the Irish stereotype any good; On the one hand yes we drink. but on the other, we're great musicians, great artists, and we can drink the lot of you under the table. *burp

but it's hilariously obvious when I'm grouped with someone that's using a controller instead of mouse/kb, whether that's on PS3 or on PC.

Ermm how do you tell? I'm kind of curious now.

controllers have better movement options :P(i.e no backpedalling at ALL) but vastly inferior targetting (no mouse click so has to rely on the pretty bad Tabtarget system :<) it's quite easy to tell who's on controller if you watch their movement, and no it doesn't handicap them in the slightest outside of the few times with 9+ enemies... in which case why aren't you AoE'ing them ANYWAYS?!

Unfortunately the internet seems to bring out the worst in some people. I love this game personally and I have it both on PC and PS3. I prefer to play on my PC the majority of the time due to the fact that my PC is far more powerful and its also easier to communicate. As far as holding it against someone that they play on PS3, thats ridiculous! I'm glad that people are able to enjoy the game no matter the platform. All the elite idiots need to go play something else.

you realize in a generation or 2 Nintendo wont exist as a console company anymore. Either will a lot of tripple a gaming developers; they are dropping like flys. Even companys such as Capcom and Square are headed in bad directions and continue too. PC gaming as been skyrocketing the last 2 years with no sign of slowing down. Indie developers and crowd funding are bringing games to PC that players actually want to play.

This guy actually gets it! Its laughable to think consoles will replace PCs! "Google Ign's article "PC gaming is surging"" to get a decent idea of the growth PC Gaming has had and how consoles pale in comparison.
