Why are PC players being so stuck up to ps3 players?

you realize in a generation or 2 Nintendo wont exist as a console company anymore. Either will a lot of tripple a gaming developers; they are dropping like flys. Even companys such as Capcom and Square are headed in bad directions and continue too. PC gaming as been skyrocketing the last 2 years with no sign of slowing down. Indie developers and crowd funding are bringing games to PC that players actually want to play.

a generation? The next generation of consoles is barely a step above a middle of the road gaming PC...and that's just the tech aspect.

You can LOL all you want to man, it's all about market share. I hate to admit it as an old-school PC gamer.. I've been tweaking hardware for longer than I care to admit anymore... You plan on running Win 7 forever? Even MS is taking their OS full on tablet. You think Linux is going to pick up the slack, or Mac? Look where the Operating Systems are going. Within 10 years, you'll have your games on your phone, your tablet, and your console. PCs will be back to development, science/industry, hobbyists..

Then I guess it's a good thing FFXIV hits the PS4 next February, huh? Also, I wouldn't even be playing this damn game without the PS3. I very grateful (despite all the issues) that I am able to enjoy the hell out of this game. Now, can we please stop this 9th grade argument?

Part of it stands with a strong distrust in inferior gaming systems (consoles)
Part of it is just for the rise people get when someone gets mad.

Oh and they only way that PC gaming will be obsolete is if consoles become PC's....which is almost there. I think by next gen consoles they will basically be PC's that you have to completely rebuy your entire game library every time you upgrade...while ill be on my PC with a game library that extends from the first game I got to any new game.

Yeah I see that as the soon to be only real difference between the two. You wont be able to upgrade a consoles hardware, and you wont be able to upgrade into a new system without tossing away your older games...while ill be able to turn up the graphics and download modded texture upgrades for those old classics. Seems to be you have it in reverse, since consoles want to basically be gaming PC's that have horrible game selection and no backward compatibility.

I think the behaviour is a general issue with people who have freedom online and cant handle the responsibility. On my first day I got barbs thrown at me (being female) by some guy who more or less said females in game can wiggle their butt and get what they want. I pointed out that people only give stuff to others because they want to, no one can MAKE them. I also had someone refuse to let me in their free company because my toon didnt have a *REAL NAME*. She didnt identify what that meant.

1. Ive seen NPCs with one name or a title like *World breaker*
2. They weren't a role playing FC
3. I pointed out this was a *FANTASY* MMO.
4. My name wasnt breaking the ToS.

In the end I let it go because to be honest it was stupid. If FCs have strange rules or can't explain them I really dont think its worth worrying about. You're here to hang out with fun people, not to sit here and be worried about every move you make as beign wrong.
