If not I hope SE investigates his Account for Gil transfers that make no sense .
Example
A Banned Gil Seller or Farmer giving him so and so amounts of Gil ............

This whole Gil Seller thing needs to be addressed and if people are buying Gil , they have no respect for the game or the people around them .

I read your original post, but apparently you didn't. You left out all those details. If you did read it then I guess reading isn't the problem but its comprehension. The fact that you left those details out and refuse to even acknowledge them proves my point.

I would like to hope he was too, but with a story like that I find it hard to believe he is 100% innocent. Maybe George Zimmerman innocent....

Interestingly enough my account was hacked some time today while I was at work. I got home, logged in and found 1000 gil to my name with a bunch of stuff put up for sale on Market Board. Just finished waiting for 2 hours to get my password changed, due to an old security token I no longer have being linked to the password area of account information (but not to simply log in to the game or account management system). It was from the 1.0 CE that I no longer have and lost that token when I moved about 2 years ago. That old one WAS deactivated and confirmed as much, however they actually had to remove it completely before I could change my account information.

So, I'm going to get another token like I should have long ago. On the bright side, most of my gear was bound so they couldn't sell or attempt to sell or trade it away. Didn't think that game aspect would come in handy, but here I am. Luckily they didn't toss items for the hell of it either or even use GC points.

I'll chime in since people aren't really getting what the OP is talking about. I've experienced the same problem with the token that the OP is describing. A few years ago, I broke my security token, so naturally I contacted support to have them remove it for me which I thought they had done, but what they had done is removed the requirement for me needing a one time password. This made things worse because now the token was still bound to my Square Enix account even though it wasn't required for me to log in anymore, and because the token was still bound even though it's wasn't being used anymore, you can't bind a new token to your account, so it's not as simple as adding the digital token because the support team screwed up and left an account vulnerable.

Been online playing since I was 18 years old (1997) and I am 34 years old(currently) ...............never been hacked...............
I mean .............geesh , what am I doing wrong !?!?! There are players on here saying they been hacked in other games more than once .............What is wrong with me?!? Why not me ?!?!
Granted , I do not use third party tools.
I do not buy in game money ..
I do not go to sites I do not know ...
Do not open Mail from random sites and people I do not know.....

Played UO , EQ1 , FF11 , Lineage2 , Aion , Champions Online , STO , StarWars TOR , APB ..................................None hacked ............
What am I doing wrong ?!?!?

I have the old FF11 Token , got it when it first came out ................yet still works without a flaw ..............
Now using the moble one time Program .............no issues.................

Finally 9:00AM PST rolls around and I call immediately and wait 45 minutes until a representative gets on the phone. This individual was very responsive and awesome. I gave him the situation and character names. He looked up the other character that was created by the hacker and immediately booted him from the game. He appologized about the last rep and that he froze the token instead of removed it. He told me to change my password immediately so the other individual couldn't log back in, so I did. I FINALLY got to activate the mobile token app and everything was good. Again...I was wrong.

I know lots of players got hacked and I am one of them. Good luck to your account. SE don't care but other online game care. Their system is not secure. None of us is Gil buyer or visit any strange website. There is something wrong. Their slow response makes everyone unhappy later.

I wasnt hacked again that I know of. I simply said when I got home from lunch to log on to see the damages, I still got 3102. So either the other character was never logged off like I was told, or he was super speedy and logged on again before I could change my password. I don't have any idea if that person is still in my account or not. Can't tell if they are online or not.
