what you asking is basicly and insta-aoe-aggro nobody can overthread. Yeah, no. You're a paladin, use flash more then one time. And yes, dps need to learn to focus on a single target, aoe all the things don't work here

It's boring early on, but it gets a lot more fun and Paladin has sufficient AOE hate if you're playing it properly.
I'm not trying to attack you OP, but if you're having problems, it's time to consider what you're doing.
How I've taken to pulling->
Shield Lob with a marking macro
Flash, if there's multiple
Fast Blade, Savage Blade
Flash
Rage of Halone
Fast Blade, Savage Blade, RoH
Flash
I also switch targets before my dps too, marking my new target. I've found that 99% of dps switch to my new target once the last one is dead. It needs no explanation, they just do it.
It's important to keep hate on everything, but it's vitally important to keep hate on the biggest targets (they seem to do the most damage) so it's good to tab over to them and check them out periodicially.
Threat isn't really an issue at 50, but I do think many tanks will be rage quitting sooner than later with the current state of things. Paladin has a very boring playstyle, missing most of what a magic tanking class should have. Warrior is relatively fun to play, but it is inferior to paladin in all end game content. Both tanks lack active abilities to keep themselves alive and mostly depend on the healer doing the hard work. After games like Tera and even Wow tanking in this game feels very weak, active mitigation is a must-have for tanks these days.
Flash isn't the key to success as far as I'm told...
Combos! (not the cheese filled pretzel snacks)
Threat gauge next to all party members names, watch it, learn it, love it!My only complaint, after playing tanks in various other games, is that I feel far too squishy in dungeons. Where, if the healer misses a heal or two, I'm dead. That's not something I'm familiar with, as most of the time tank classes have high defense and high hp, giving them survivability far superior to other classes. Other than that, I don't have many complaints aside from other players not able to tell how much enmity they have generated in comparison to the other party members.
Lol, you are joking right? Not really that fun, you spam the 3 skills over and over again along with flash to get hate. You mark the Target so hoping the DPS would target that monster. You constantly have to tell them to attack only the Target you attack. Ranger always keep stealing your hate showing off their DPS. Our sub job skill Cure are pathetic making it worthless. Our damage is laughable.
I hope they buff the Tank damage more, and at least gave them Cure 2.
Moral of the story:
GIEF NINJA
You best be trolling.
"Gladiator/Pld is boring."
This is not a fact, this is completely subjective.
"Not very good at multi-target tanking."
Better get used to switching between targets then, bro. If you want to be a PLD, that is.
"Not very good at multi-target tanking"
Then be a Warrior.
"We do terrible damage."
Stop trying to be a DPS and start being a Tank.
"If any DPS wants to they can (and often do) pull things off the tank."
It's either:
A: Stop being a bad tank and practice your role more
B: Stop being in a group with bad DPS roles who think it's cute to pull
C: Stop being in a group with a Pro healer who think spamming Medica and overhealing is okay
D: Do you have adequate gear?
"Can't really do much to keep ourselves safe."
Use your actions?
Stop having a crappy healer in your group?
"So why should I or anyone play a class that is boring, low damage, high stress , and only slightly tougher than other classes?"
This sounds like a personal problem you're having, to be honest. If you don't like being a Tank, then be a DPS, plain and simple.

Well if what I am doing is wrong then what you are doing is wrong because I am doing basically the exact same thing... minus the RoH because I can't...It's boring early on, but it gets a lot more fun and Paladin has sufficient AOE hate if you're playing it properly.

You do realize that PLD get Stoneskin which is like 2x mana efficiency. 10% of a tanks buffed HP will always beat a measly cure. Just sayin'Not really that fun, you spam the 3 skills over and over again along with flash to get hate. You mark the Target so hoping the DPS would target that monster.
