Transmog

I love the look of the Odin gear as a paladin and the artifact gear, but I end up having to equip less appealing gear such as Darksteel and Darklight (which i just don't personally care for, but no offense to those that do) I wanted to bring up the idea that WoW just recently did called Transmog. It makes it so you can make any piece of gear look like a piece of gear that you can equip and must have in your pack. So you must own the gear you want it to look like and you must be able to wear it in your current class. I don't know if there is a post somewhere around here pitching this idea but I just wanted to see what the community thought of this. It's just sad that I work hard for this Odin Armor suit and It's worse/equivalent than the level 45 class quest gear and 50 class quest chest. Thoughts?

Yes! Transmog was a horrible gold sink, which arguably, FFXIV would be best to avoid right now.
RIFT's system of simply placing gear into costumes slots which overrode your 'battle gear' was simple and worked on so many level, not to mention the ability to unlock multiple 'outfit' slots so you could flick through different outfits with ease. Would definitely prefer this system over something like transmog (yuck), and I'm pretty sure I recall people talking about this was how they planned to do it anyway, so go team!

Yea I didn't like how the cost of it was implemented or how it attached its look to a piece of gear. But obviously all I meant to say was a way to make gear different. Apparently I didn't make that clear...

Well I hate when people get mad that they mention WoW when the person played WoW and not whatever game you mentioned. I referenced something I knew and you will just have to get over it. Obviously everyone else knew what I was talking about.

Edit: Also how can it be the one of the worst games with a bigger fanbase than any other MMO to date? Don't try to attempt to make fun of a game just because it is a competitor of whatever game you send your fanboism towards. Only reason WoW is dying is because it is just so old. No other reason.
