Has anyone killed HM Titan using DF?

yeah, that's how the pugs do it... just a lot of lost dps, when you could have your dragoons monks and bards worry about interrupts (although that requires a little communication and setting up some sort of interrupt order)

i'd rather bring another dd than have a pld sit there on interrupt duty

then again, i see people doing the same thing for titan as they did for version 1 ifrit in the early days - bring 3 healers and just brute force the fight instead of avoiding attacks properly

except in titan's case i'd think it'd make breaing the heart a little more difficult, unless you're just relying on that LB to finish it off?

my point was the second tank thats required thru the DF has a use in the ifrit fight, in the titan fight they are pretty much useless, they are really only good for helping to break the stones people get trapped in, and hopefully getting trapped in one themselves so it saves someone else from getting trapped

if the second tank is a paladin, if duty finder gave you 1 of each of the 8 jobs for each fight that'd be another story, but i've seen plenty of duty finder ifrits with double warrior, or a paladin in full darklight and a warrior in af/level 20 jewelry

it's definitely worse on titan don't get me wrong, but that's because the dps check for titan happens earlier in the fight and isn't just cheesed by a level 3 LB

honestly ifrit could probably be beaten by a light party the way he is now, or rather, a light party with a 3rd limit break bar and a mage

titan on the other hand has that soft enrage, adding an extra hit each time he tumults
