How are people leveling crafting so fast??

Okay, i'm stuck. I keep seeing crafters at level 50, and people talking about how easy it is to do, yet i'm stuck. I'm only around 26 with weaver, and lower with others, but now with bots and other farmers over farming the spawns for the stuff, i just can't seem to get the mats. If gold farming (not the bad kind, but with a DoM/W a legit way at 50) was decent, i could take my 50 and just buy the stuff on the market, but that's not practical as far as i've seen. Can't gather weaving mats with mining/fish/botany, so that's a road block.

I've heard to make HQ stuff for leves, but either i'm missing something or my luck is terrible, but i've been failing at 90% a LOT lately. (please tell me this doesn't have the "face this way during this type of weather" system)

I'm just stumped and looking for any advice people have. I've been getting the skill book from the GC, and try to make one of each item, and that seems to help, but not much when i have a hard time getting mats. :\

Are you using nothing but HQ materials for your synths? You have to make sure that you have the best gear that you can afford for your level. For me when I attempt to craft 99 HQ items, I get around 2 failures just for bad luck.

Use lower level leves. I have been doing level 35 leves from 40 to 50. 7 Leves needed for 49 to 50.

Use leves 5 levels below you as Thotor said. Craft only HQ items. If you cant you need to update your gear. Only pick leves which require 3 unique item turn ins (Such as 3 mythril bracelets.. for example). Picking those leves allow you to repeat them twice after finishing it (For a total of three times) Doing this i was able to go from level 37--50 BSM in a total of four hours since i was getting 210k EXP, 6k gil per levequest allowance.

- Level a DoW to 50, Buy GC scrolls for 50% exp boost. (or do supply missions)

- Have a friend make you some good crafting foods.

- Do repeatable leves (check reddit for sources)

Specifically what you should do is spam the leves that allow multiple turn ins of multiple items. Got my BSM from 34-44 in 36 hours! I get 220k xp per levequest (average) now

Only on Legacy servers though. There are plenty of L50 DoH's on non-Legacy right now.

Also use CP food to increase your use of Touch actions, or use Control food to increase the amount of quality you get per Touch action.

I'm a CUL, and I've made some great friends providing crafting foods in exchange for materia melds, new gear, etc.
