I always do this as blm, not a problem. have also done it multiple times with two blm.

Enjoy the boss, its pretty unique from all dungeons
IMO problem its not the positioning or repel(yes you can still fail cuz of it but its pretty simple at the end)
Problem its when adds spawn and they hurt pretty hard to dps/healer if tank doesnt get them or have an armored guy to tank it.
The rest its just a DPS race...So keep calm when adds spawn and when they are dead nuke the boss
But i would suggest one thing to UI...its a "Focus" panel....im DPS but i think it would suck not know when the boss its using repel or when im hitting ads idk when exactly repel will come(after many runs you will get an idea anyways)
But a focus would b awesome to keep track of boss attacks.
Demon wall is ridiculously easy to beat.
Demon wall is nothing more than a dps check, the mechanic itself is very clear
It's not too hard.
I have no problem with those purple zones. The gnats' aoe kill me all the time. I'm a healer and how can I heal if I have to move out of those gnats' red circles?

If people can dodge the mechanics properly (the purple fields) you can just use medica II for the regen, stoneskin and/or regen. Since the fields appear in the middle first, you can just stand on the sides so you only have to move into the middle once by taking a step toward the middle, then move back out for the next set of purples.
Gnats are a bit more tricky. but their AOE can be stunned as it has a rather large cast time. One paladin can get both by using Spirits Within, switching to the other one and Shield Bashing. Warrior, Monk and Dragoon have their own stuns, Bard can use blunt arrow. You can burn one down with a single target limit break or use the BLM AOE one if you don't have a melee.
It seems like people don't even care about the adds and when I die and the party get wiped, I feel very bad.If people can dodge the mechanics properly (the purple fields) you can just use medica II for the regen, stoneskin and/or regen. I feel your pain. What I do when those gnats come out is swiftcast+medica II. Everyone is topped off and regening and it gives you more room to keep yourself alive during that part. After a few runs and you get used to it, the swiftcast+medica II isn't really necessary anymore.
