Please do not talk about personal wealth or ways to earn gils. All of us know how to do that, you are not smart or anything to figure that out. What we are talking about is server economy as a whole. All the people complaining just wanna run dungeons all day and QQ cus they have no money there are ways to make money in this game best example is what I use.
Iron ore mine 100 20 min elm lumber 100 20 min makes 50 iron saws sells for 70 gil 50 x 70=3500 gil to npc vendors and this is done by just having 3 DoH Dol classes at lvl 15 now imagine those same 3 classes at lvl 50.
O
If he wanted to remove gill from the legacy servers he should've just done so, and that their current wealth would not work with the economical system they had in mind. Not put a non-functional economical system in place and have the excuse be, we gotta bleed them legacy players, and in kind you all have to suffer.I'm just going to throw this out there;
Did you guys consider that maybe Yoshi is trying to remove Gil, specifically from Legacy,
I'm not saying that's what's going on, and that it's not going to problems, but I have a feeling they are trying to bleed players until the transfers open up. Best thing to do is be wise with your money until adjustments are made.
The game is trying to leech money from us at every turn.
I've been making 150k or so each day with lots of crafting, but prices are dropping as people run out of story money.
It'll sure be interesting in a few months with the current course..
There is unlimited potential Gil in crafting, and fates. Yes AH takes Gil but it doesn't take all of it there is still a net gain in crafting for the economy. Not to mention future patches will introduce even more quests and potential Gil. The real issue here is entitled players who want to dungeon grind and avoid all other aspects of the game. These are the same players who will tell you to skip cutscenes or drop if you don't speed run, then when they finish getting their dungeon gear they will complain the game was too easy and that SE doesn't care about the endgame and that this game is dying. Look the game hasn't been out a month and players are demanding they get easy Gil access.
You guys haven't even played the game for one month and now all of you are self professed economists of eoreza trying to tell square their game is broken. You just want easy Gil.
I've made 100k on turning in HQ items on my crafting leves. Because I has intelligence and it was done while leveling.
- No market required.
I was even wise enough to start a harvester before I started my crafter because I knew I would need the materials from it and preferably HQ ones to get HQ items for my leves. I'm quite fine and dandy - and I've been through Amdapor Keep, Ifrit Hard and so on plenty of times, I even spent two full days wiping lots on hydra, wipe even more, repaired even more.. I've not even begun to make a dent in those 100k from HQ item leves. Got quite a few pieces of Darklight and rest is filled with dungeon gear from the many runs I do. So do not tell me it cannot be done - you just don't take advantage of the possibilities in game.
So, please do the rest of us a favor, go elsewhere with your whining. There is a fine influx of money in this game. It's just not your typical do xx amount of boring kill this quests for 1hr and get lots and lots of gil. Heavens forbid you don't have to fight and need to utilize them brain cells a bit.

What im talking about is quit being lazy if your to lazy to earn gil you should not get gil. Now get over it.
Then by all means, stay broke.
I like how the white knight fan boy solution is "you're doing it wrong" as if playing "Final Fantasy Budget Simulator" is fun. Should players be expected to start a Mint account just to manage their gil?
Your point is moot sadly - A lot of complaints are on the legacy worlds where people are selling things like Electrum Ingots for 20 gil a pop.Character

One thing you forget OP is that if everybody crafted there would be no one to buy your wares and the market would be so swamped with crafting/crafted items nothing would sell for more than a gil.
The other thing is that you do not understand that it is not the lack of personal wealth but the lack of way to make gil on the server as a whole. Once everybody finishes their story and gets their 200-250k gil that is it, there is no way to make more gil to put into the economy. And numerous gil sinks to remove gil from the game. At some point there will be no gil left to trade as it has all gone back into the vendors via repairs/market fee's/ etc. IMO repairs cost far to much for how hard it is to make gil in game and it will cause a huge collapse at some point.
Wow just did some research 1 mythril morter sells for 250 gil to npc vendor only takes 1 mythril ingot and 2 mahogany lumber
So as stated before the problem lies with lazy players whom just wanna smash all day every day and have gil given to them without having to do anything else.
