I used to log back in after every update but would find myself getting bored within a couple of days. I decided I'd just wait another 4-6 months before even logging on again. I'd rather have a vast amount of content options ahead of me instead of staying and burning through the 2 hours worth of new stuff they implement every two months.

Anyone else feeling bored with FFXIV?

Been playing since closed beta without any time off, I usually play at least 4 days a week and my LS is very active and we always have a good time. I'm not bored at all, I feel that the new team that took over a few months ago is making steady progress in improving this game.

Smart move.
I pretty much stopped playing after patch 1.15a. I won't play seriously until the battle system is redone. By that time I'll have a bunch of sidequests to do and other random things.

No. We shouldn't need 100 threads saying the same exact thing when we could have 1 thread with 100 posts. It doesn't make sense that these keep popping up when there are always threads on the New Posts link that deal with this already.

Threads with 100 posts suck because people and community reps will read the first and last post only and then forget about the issue as the threads falls to page 2-3....

If i come back in a month, patch 1.18 won't be even out yet so still no changes. Also even after patch 1.18 i'm still having doubts that there will be any major change that will make people say "wow or finally the game is on the right track!"
