    AFTER ALMOST 12 DAYS I WAS FIXED. NA ps3 user that was never escalated. I qued up in chat 1 minute before it closed in 3 browsers and I got in. Heres our convo

    Please use the provided Playstation 3 FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn registration code to apply to the correct service account:

    To register the code to the correct service account on the PlayStation 3, please follow the instructions below:

    1a) Press the PlayStation Home button in the center of your controller. -OR-
    1b) Alternatively you may visit the Sony Entertainment Network Store and redeem the code using the "Redeem Code" option.
    2) Log into the Sony Entertainment Network ID that you wish to play the game on.
    3) Navigate to the "Account Management" section
    4) Select the "Redeem Code" option.
    5) Place your 12-digit code into the space provided.
    6) Download the game if you already have not done so.
    7) Launch the client for the game and sign into the SQUARE ENIX ID associated with the service account you are trying to use.
    8) The launcher will now prompt you to apply the code to a FINAL FANTASY XIV Service Account on the SQUARE ENIX ID. Please pick the option towards the bottom of the page that has a button 'Next' to proceed (you may have to scroll down the page to view this) *Note: DO NOT pick the option that states "Create a new service account" as this will create a brand new FINAL FANTASY XIV service account*
    9) Confirm the options you are adding to the service account and finalize the registration.

    We apologize for the delay in responding to your contact regarding FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn and Square Enix account.

    Many of the contacts we have received involve issues that have been resolved by the recent hot fixes, issues resolved by the countermeasures we have set up to combat server congestion, or issues that have been otherwise resolved by customers themselves. Given this situation, we sincerely regret to inform you that we will be pre-emptively closing your support ticket at this time.

    We will be continuing to expand our Support Center team’s capabilities to provide better and faster support, but until then we ask for your continued patience and understanding. Closing your ticket was not a decision we came to lightly, and we wish to extend our sincerest apologies for not providing you with a timely response and for not being able to assist you directly.

    If your issue is still unresolved, we ask that you please resubmit your contact to us on the Square Enix Support Center or the in-game Support Desk.
    They make us fill out a ******* form specific to this issue, wait 10 days, then this is their response?! Closing the ticket while admitting they never bothered to look at it, because they have too many tickets to look at?!

    I think there are congressmen more competent than these fools who manage the customer service for this game.

    Surely there has to be a lawyer or law student among us who can direct us to some legal action to take against this completely inept company.

    You may be able to get a refund, other than that there's not much you can do.

    You can't sue Square Enix simply because of their sub par customer support, nor have they breached any of their TOS contract because I can play the game and am not being denied any service. I simply entered my code in the wrong place and ended up with a second account without my character.

    I'm still waiting, same as you. I don't know how to find the online chat either.

    Although I will say in the week I've been sitting around waiting I could have re-done all my progress. I'm probably going to withdraw my ticket and just start over tonight, all I really lose is a few days of work, my Mog Cap and that vanity pet.

    The account I created by accident works perfectly fine. Yours does too I'd bet, although if you went all out with the CE and Pre-order bonuses you won't have access to them.

    i would reroll but i know a few ppl on server im on and dont wanna restart and play alone thatd suck.... especially since i wanna play on a legacy server and those are like all filled up

    Now what you will want to do is replace "2652279" with your own ticket number. The "2652279" was my ticket that I got resolved. To increase your chances of getting a hold of an agent, open it in multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.).
