    Duty finder is ok

Duty finder is a nice tool.
And if things are getting harder, like people said, we can still recruit an elite party to do this particular dungeon.

I see a tool like duty finder as an help to farm common content, not the bread and butter to complete each and every challenge the game has to offer.

I must say, if you don't find others to play with on your server, then your journey is over.

Just now I got into a dungeon, WHM took one look at us and just left the party, no, he didn't d/c, just left.

I also watched my bro and his gf wipe to Garuda (Hard) over and over again.

Duty Finder, gotta love it huh. It's good for completing the story, useless after that.

It's not login issues that will kill this game, its the community.

I haven't had problems with groups in it personally.

    Exactly this ^

I have had a mixed bag with DF. Best to remain patient and explain about importance of gear and strat before jumping in as the community is finding its feet. Games only been out a week. It takes a few tries to get the muscle memory for boss fights.

Have to admit though I did have a little quiet QQ when Amp Keep DF loaded up and placed me with 2 BLM. We couldn't DPS the first boss fast enough and one left so fortunately didn't even have to experience the Demon Wall.

Also the servers have just stabilised and people are actually getting to play, probably a bit too much, so a lot of tired cranky people on ^^

This is exactly what the OP is talking about. XD

Personally maybe 10% of the parties I've been in were actually enjoyable. The rest I wanted to drop but didn't cause It's not how I roll.

problem is not the duty finder its just a tool if you want to use it or not.

its the people bringing down the community, the DF is not the one calling you names or QQ then drop party.

I've only had disasters from DF.
Took me 6 hours to beat Titan, because of shit groups, not understanding what they have to do, fall after fall after fall and then someone ragequitting.
I had to actually go to Dragonhead and ask a few higher lvl dudes to help me out in shout, because I've just lost all hope to do it with DF.
We did it from the first try, it wasn't that hard at all. I don't want to sound rude, but I was seriously starting to question people's intelligence at that point.

Weirdly enough, my friends on Phoenix (EU) (we got separated in the whole launch thing, hopefully I'll rejoin them with the serv trans item soon) haven't had a single problem with DF - always had cool and understanding people.

I prefer duty finders that only draw on people from your own world for two reasons.

First, actions have more consequences, reputations get made, and extreme behavior can be reported to a FC leader.

Second, you meet people you can add to your friends list or recruit into your FC to do more non-duty finder grouping with. With a multi-worlds finder you're almost always going to get some random you never see again.

That said, a one-world duty finder would have its disadvantages in terms of how fast groups get put together and they would be particularly less functional on small population worlds.

I too am sorry that you have had bad experiences. I have done pretty much everything I could through the DF and have had only one bad experience which was mainly due to the tank just plain not trying. As far as attitudes go, I have had a far better experience with this Dungeon Finder in this game than in pretty much every other MMO that has one.

4 minutes? Perhaps since you are only level 20 you do not understand what I and the others here are saying. At 50 to form a group that can actually down some of the harder content can take hours. Taking just anyone to these places (Such as Garuda or Titan hardmodes) will not get you very far. You need to find people that, not only have the gear, but are willing to wipe over and over and actually learn the content and not leave after 2 wipes. This can take many hours.
