    Can we make lower level dungeons a little more worth it? (exp wise)

    I've noticed a huge fall off of people doing dungeons and i'm a bit worried. I know Fates are the optimal way of leveling, but surely boosting the exp in dungeons just by a little bit wont be too problematic right? Also it would help new players find groups seeing as that's the only way to advance in the story.

    Eh, personally I'd love to see it come back to the normal grind. I did a few dungeons and they were fun but I don't think it's something that would be fun to do 24/7, it would dilute the fun. Like chocolate. Fun when you hvae it on occasion but if you eat it 24/7, you get sick of it pretty fast.

    Instead of boosting dungeon exp, they should lower fate exp, or a nice balance between the two.

    The problem is that you're essentially describing the situation with FATEs right now. It's all FATE, all the time, because they're the fastest way to get exp. I think the OP's post is simply a request to balance things a little better so that dungeon instances are just as viable a method of leveling up as FATEs are.

    No I would hate to do dungeons 24/7 only, it's just it's getting harder for lower level players to find groups to do even the story missions. It could become problematic in the future. Dungeons at lower levels don't really feel worth it and people are doing them less and less.

    Essentially party play and teamwork are the heart of this game and the one place you can engage in that together at lower levels isn't really worth doing.

    I was duoing yesterday successfully just on random mobs, which provided a good experience. I want to try and get 4-5 together and see how that goes with mobs a few levels up. From the way it was going last night, it seemed like a viable option. 2 arcanists at 15 killing 16-17 yielded 120-150xp/kill, and it was pretty quick.

    Dungeons give items, where fates give seals instead. Maybe I'm just wierd, but all I ever did with seals was rank up, rank up, then buy the lvl 50 weapon. Chocobo too I suppose. So dungeons seem to me like they'd be worth doing even without as much XP as other options.

    A little bump wouldn't hurt I guess, but nearly every time I've seen MMO devs adjust something they overdo it.

    Edit: Nearly forgot: once you hit the higher level dungeons they start giving Tomestones that make better gear than seals. Gear immediately dropped + currency to buy even better gear. Seems like a nice incentive not counting XP.

    I agree! Doing Fates all the time is really boring I would rather do dungeons and such but the exp for amount of time they take currently isn't worth it.
    Or maybe if the game had more quests...

    Rather than increasing dungeon XP why not just give repeatable dungeon quests that require you to complete some challenge? Make the quests scale with level so level 30s have a reason to go to Satasha, and give bonus XP, items, or even seals (GC quests) for completion. It would help keep low level dungeons going when most of the player base has out leveled them.
