    Did anyone honestly think, really honestly think, that after the changes to the server infrastructure everything would come back up seamlessly without any issue? I mean really? Really? ...really?

    Seriously people, beyond the usual random posted thoughts that they should fix things in an unrealistic time-frame, anyone who works in large IT projects with custom system software, custom system architecture and freshly expanded/rebuilt network infrastructure (anyone honest that is) can tell you that there's next to no way that they could bring everything back up flawlessly. Even in a data center with 100s/1000s of identical blade servers running identical system software/apps a major expansion and restructuring is unlikely to happen without a hitch. Sure adding a few blades into a rack that has been pre-provisioned for additional blades will go smoothly - as long as the system software is configured to integrate additional server capacity that way, and only if the applications are designed to scale without a restart.

    but the truth of the matter is that the 10 hour maintenance was the start of the expansion, they reconfigured the duty-finder/instance server and did work to the lobby and login servers, as well as all the existing worlds, plus added an additional world in Japan and two in the NA data center. They have apparently provisioned additional capacity so they can add more worlds if needed. However reconfiguring the duty finder and changing the configuration of the lobby and login servers is a fairly major change - especially the duty finder/instance server. The 3102/90000 problems during beta were traced (if memory serves) to the duty finder and instance management. Any issues now are most likely a result of the reconfiguring of these things and will be resolved.

    Please remember, they have re worked the entire architecture of key parts of the system to facilitate this upgrade, but could not run load tests on the new configuration, so they have no choice but to work out the bugs as they go. Please be patient, you're still playing for free, so give them a chance to complete their work before you castigate them.

    Regarding login problems and 3102...read this. it should be noted that although 3102 is an error message that can have multiple causes, this was a problem during Beta 4, and was resolved, so it is something that should not take long to rectify, though it may necessitate a short maintenance - as it did during the beta.

    Regarding 1017, world is full and all manner of login restriction;
    In the time period just after maintenance has completed, we predict a rush of characters logging in simultaneously. In order to prevent any technical difficulties due to this login rush, we will be temporarily placing severe login restrictions. These login restrictions may occur frequently, lasting from a few minutes to ten minutes; however, restrictions will be lifted in a gradual manner as login status is carefully monitored. We ask for your patience and understanding in this matter.

    The money they made from the initial sale of this game isnt even close to enough to cover what they've invested in this game including the massive infrastructure involved in maintaining a mmorpg of this magnitude. And with the game riddled with bugs and bothersome befuddling bad login issues, its time to start making them accountable.

    Don't post rants and blather and then still pay a subscription because all that says is that you don't really mean what you say and that your willing to put up with all the problems we've seen because your still gunna pay that subscription.

    Make them accountable and dont renew your subscription Maybe then they will see that it is US consumers that make or break them and its time for them to start listening to us instead of ignoring us.

    You can bet most of the people going through all this heartache won't be subbing once the free month is up. Why pay for a broken game, twice?

    Anyhow, have you tried rebooting your pc and/or resetting your router? Worked for me when I got hit with error 3102.

SE simply doesn't have the hardware to support the number of people there are now, and at this point, don't seem ready to commit to the amount it will take. Personally, I think they are waiting/expecting people to leave so they don't want to commit their money to that hardware, and loss of people will help bring the numbers into a manageable amount for their current set up. So it kind of seems that they really want people to quit now, with perhaps the hope that they will come back in a few months to try again at which point they may be ready to pay for additional hardware.
