I've flipped so many tables that they're all back on their feet. Ugh gonna go grocery shopping.
Just got done talking to a CS rep, after being cancelled all day yesterday. Asked about the extra 7 days, since it wasn't showing up on my inactive account, where my characters actually are. Just wanted to post what I found out today in case anyone was interested, and didn't wanna read through earlier pages. Still not very clear on the whole PS3 taking so long issue.
I had filed my ticket last week on 8/29, at no point did the rep tell me my ticket was escalated, as she seemed very disinterested in helping me all together.Agent Josiah L: Hello, . According to your ticket, you registered your PS3 Collector's Edition code to the wrong service account, but the issue was dealt with, right? Are you still having this issue?
End-user: That is correct, but it is still showing up in my account incorrectly on service account 2.
End-user: I was hoping to have my issue escalated, and hopefully it can be resolved soon, if at all possible.
Agent Josiah L: Okay, I'll see about that.
End-user: Thanks.
Agent Josiah L: Please wait a bit more - I appreciate your patience while I look into this matter.
End-user: No problem. Thanks.
Agent Josiah L: So it would appear that the escalation was properly filed, so the process could take up to two weeks, as the terms of the ticket specify.
Agent Josiah L: Check your e-mail on a regular basis to ensure that you get it.
End-user: Okay, and does that time start as of today or when I first talked to support?
End-user: Okay.
Agent Josiah L: That time should have started as of the first time you talked to support and had the issue escalated.
End-user: Okay.
End-user: Is there any info as to why PS3 is taking longer to fix than for PC accounts?
Agent Josiah L: Well, I can't really say for sure, but it might be because the process also deals with Sony.
End-user: Because of the PSN registration codes?
End-user: Also, will I receive the additional 7 days on my account, or just the 30 from the CE?
End-user: Sorry for taking up more of your time, it's just frustrating seeing other accounts being fixed and PS3 seemingly getting no help at all.
Agent Josiah L: I understand that it can be frustrating; it can be hard to deal with, for sure.
Agent Josiah L: I'll attempt to answer your question as best as I can.
End-user: Thanks.
Agent Josiah L: From registering a new game code, you should be getting the 30 days.
Agent Josiah L: The additional time should be applied to everyone.
Agent Josiah L: (By additional time, I mean the 7 days.)
End-user: But not for inactive beta service accounts, for the 7 days, correct?
Agent Josiah L: Well, I'm not sure about that. The information that I'm looking at is that all player accounts will be getting an additional seven days applied to their free trials, so it seems like there has to be a free trial to get that extension first.
Just got off Customer Support Live Chat.
This person, Kristian, said nothing about it having to do with Sony. In fact he said that the the reason the PC was getting fixed is because they just implemented the tools to fix it on their end yesterday and they are waiting to get the tools for the PS3. And said it will take the full 14 days.
Then he promptly disconnected me.
What great customer service........
I suppose that's good news. Taking all 14 days... really?Just got off Customer Support Live Chat.

Agent Kristian H: Ok i already see the ticket has been escalated unfortunately this process can take up to two weeks
Agent Kristian H: Are there any different issues I can assist you with right now?
You: my escalated ticket says that the platform is on windows but I have the pS3 version of the game. will that cause any errors or unwanted delay on the resolutionof my problem?
Agent Kristian H: No it wont we have everything good on our side
i kinda felt he was in a hurry to disconnect me ASAP. Didn't have the chance to ask wether i get the additional 7 days on my service account 1 when it gets fixed.. oh well
Can we get someone with their main account reactivated to post this on the general forums or anywhere else that is monitored so that we can have a chance of being answered?Just got off Customer Support Live Chat.
