I'd like to join a drama-free FC that doesn't require 6 hours a night during the week. I normally work 55-60 hours a week, so my playtime M-F would be roughly 7-11pm ET, and all day on the weekends. I played FFXI for 6 years, and it was the best time of my gaming life - I'd like to get together with a group of people who can grow together and see what this game has to offer.

I currently have Marauder 31 and Gladiator 21 - I plan on getting GLA up to 30 when the servers come back up in a few hours. I haven't done the lvl 15 Guildhests yet, because I refuse to do them with PUGs, especially cross-server PUGs.

Ventrilo would be nice, but it's not absolutely necessary. It would be nice to VC with people you're doing an event with, and I'd like to talk to other tanks about well... tanking!

For anyone reading this thread, I'd like to share my thoughts on this Free Company. I wanted to join a FC so that I would never have to PUG any of the dungeons. The people that I've met in here have been very helpful with knowledge, and they've been always willing to help with dungeons. Tanking dungeons for the first time makes me a bit nervous, but my FC mates make me feel comfortable in there, so I've been doing very well. I am ten times the player that I was before I joined, and I have a lot more confidence in what I'm doing now. My enjoyment of this great game has gone through the roof, and I think my FC is largely responsible for this.

I'd like to second that sentiment - this is an extremely friendly, well mannered FC with lots of good people. I'm proud to now be a member!

We do have a vent server up and running so that would not be an issue at all, I personal run a PLD myself so we can talk tanking any time you like. I also like to stream on twitch when I do dungeon group runs with the FC so that anyone who is not in the group run can still see how things go, cheer us on as well as potentially learn new techniques. Since you are a tank, you would essentially be seeing how I tank as well as how I prioritize my abilities and when I use them.
