Just wait until the fanboys start ripping you apart for daring to voice your complaints. Warm fuzzies here all day long.
I've edited my post to reflect that.
Better to be a "fanboy" (I guess that means being patient) then spending all the time whinning
Complaints are good but geez I am sure they know what is going on by now.
As long we see "world is full" message as long we have to post threads about it. It is very important - to control the situation every minute! ^^ If we dont post - square thinks everything is ok! everybody is playing! hell is there..
Seems like you don't care enough to actually read the information they've posted.
A 10-hour maintenance is scheduled tonight, starting at 5pm PDT and ending at 3am PDT.
They are adding new worlds, increasing the capacity and possible concurrent connections of existing worlds, and patching up the duty finder.
If this maintenance is successful, they (edit: ARE CONSIDERING IMPLEMENTING) an AFK auto-kick system.
They're also giving us an extra 7 days of free playtime to make up for error-ridden days.
I know this is going to ruin your day, but SE isn't hiring right now. They just laid off a bunch of people in San Francisco and London.
I still find it funny. 2 more worlds isn't going to fix the problem. They need to do what they are doing but put 6 more worlds to solve the issue.
No, the term "fanboy" has nothing whatsoever to do with patience. It actually connotes impatience with those who don't see things your way. Hence, immaturity.
Venting frustration on these boards is simply cathartic. Nobody here thinks Yoshi is going to read this stuff and then say, "Something must be done."
Let people blow off a little steam.
Is that supposed to be a personal jab at me? I'm not a white-knighting fanboy, I'm trying to spread this information because many people seem to have missed that announcement. I didn't see it until yesterday.
Square Enix screwed up big time, but to say they "don't care" is an overstatement... they care about getting more of our money, at the very least, and they know fixing these problems with help them with that. :P
They aren't trying to fix this problem. They are trying to fix the cash flow loss they are having right now from having to shutdown the digital download links. They are banking on the 1017 problem fixing itself by attrition. A certain amount of the population will not stay past the free trial period, as with any game. They are waiting to find out how many people are going to leave and then They will address this issue in full force.
Nothing they have stated makes me think otherwise.
Immature ? hehe just being logical, and for this immature 57 yr old man that comes easy, son !
Logged in right away, no problem here. Well it did take 2 minutes
