Thanks, I'll use a few things from this that I don't already have.
Also, I added a section for other Final Fantasy games/media such as Crystal Chronicles and the movie Spirits Within.
Some system sounds (cancelling a command, etc) are the same from FFXIII series. Though I think it's more of a recycling of resources then a real reference.
Also, not only Serah's bow will be implemented, but roughly every other FFXIII character's weapons will be present: pictures here and here.
I believe Lightning's gunblade will be for gladiators, Fang's for lancers, Serah's for archers, Snow's cristal/ice 'thing' (from Lightning Returns) will work as a marauder's axe, Vanille's rod will go to conjurers, Mog's Clock to thaumaturges. The last too I would've done different: a pair of modified Sazh guns to work as pugilist's gloves and the terrible mashup of Hope's boomerangs as an arcanist's book. Very weird.
Yeah I think its more recycling resources. The only sound I think is a reference is one of the /tell alerts being from 9.Some system sounds (cancelling a command, etc) are the same from FFXIII series. Though I think it's more of a recycling of resources then a real reference.
Also, not only Serah's bow will be implemented, but roughly every other FFXIII character's weapons will be present.
Ah, I didn't realize that, I'll change the reference to encompass every weapon.
I'm not sure which, to be honest, when I am able to log in, I will check the zones to see if there's a location marker for it.
I don't see a marker for it, so maybe its just concept art for the time being.

Deathgaze is 99% the same as in ff12 not ff13 one
http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Deathgaze
i think you refere to Akihiko Yoshida(fftactis,FF12,vagrant story), but is an art designer and didnt work to the game SystemsThese two games share a common team member. As such, there are many similarities between the two games, from similar enemies to the user interface to the blue dotted lines between zones. This does not mean they are references, but rather similarities in design due to a common designer.
They are a reference! if is the same system, that works the same way, and wasnt used for almost 7 years, not in ff13,ff13-2,ff13-3, ff14 1.0 and then they reuse it, it is a reference, at least for me lol, the Devs one day they decided "ok we use THIS from FF12".Its a choise of a Team and so a reference.
same if one day they decide to add Tetra master from FF8, will be a Game Design reference.
The Aggro lines (battle desing not artstyle) are only in FF12 how cant be a reference? Allusion are not only to the Story but To Game design, Music, Artstyle etc.
ah! i forgot that yoshi in a video said chocobo companion will work with GAMBITS form FF12, will be another reference. :P
yes but must be add: (His Design is based from FF7)
-The Beast Clan Sylph of ff14 first appeared in FF4 as a Summon, and saved/put asleep Yang in the story
In General references:
you must add The presence of the Opening Prelude and The Victory Fanfare music, that give the "feeling" of a real FF

Just some of my obserations:
You are recognized as a person of destiny by the crystal you bear. In FFI, the warriors of Light were recognized in the same way.
Possible reference: Major NPCs are unable to recognize Legacy players as the warriors of light, despite their deeds in v1. FFI ended with the warriors of light closing the time loop that caused the rise of the fiends, and as a result erased all knowledge of their deeds from the timeline. Essentially, no one remembers them or what they did.
(note: MAJOR SPOILERS!!! you have been warned)
Thancred betrays you, and is revealed to be under mind control, not unlike Kain in FFIV
The "one true god" the Ascians worship: Zodiark
In addition, the Ascians are immortal, undying, and involve themselves in the affairs of mortals much like the Occuria. In particular, they appear to be influencing Gaius' descision to invade Eorzea, much like Venat.
Some of Gaius' ideals are remarkably similar to Vayne Solidor
In the dungeon "Copperbell Mines," there is a monster named Hecatoncheir Stonehauler/Stonebreaker. Hecatoncheir is a reference to Vanille's Eidolon from Final Fantasy XIII.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Respect is key!
The Tam-Tara Deepcroft has a final boss named Galvanth the Dominator. He's a reference to the Mindflayer monster from the original Final Fantasy.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Respect is key!
There is a FATE named "Desert Rose" in Eastern Thanalan. Desert Rose is a reference to an item stolen from Ruby Weapon in FFVII. Ruby Weapon was fought in the desert, much like Thanalan.
Treat others the way you want to be treated. Respect is key!
