Lost free 30 days for accidentally registered to the wrong service account?

I could easily afford to buy a new copy for another code, but I refuse to reward SE with more of my money for failing so hard.

At this point I don't even care. I just want to play my main, but I want the bonuses I am entitled to. I will gladly pay for another CE code, but I can't.

Ok that solves the free trial issue, now if only you can get past the pesky 1017 and 2002 barriers. that's a whole other monster. Hell, right now the launcher won't even fully load for me half the time. no banners, updates, news, nothing. The only thing putting a new subscription on your 2nd service account does is give you is a false sense of hope, only to be shut down by server/lobby status errors.

Well the lobby was up and working just a couple minutes after I posted, and my first attempt to log on to Excalibur, an NA legacy world, and probably the most heavily populated in the game right now(goons) I got in to the queue, 48th, and then about 20 seconds later, I was online.

Everyone in this thread not being able to play probably makes things a lot easier...

My biggest concern about starting on my 2nd service account is my original character being erased. Does anyone know if they actually merge any characters on your second account to the first?

Well the lobby was up and working just a couple minutes after I posted, and my first attempt to log on to Excalibur, an NA legacy world, and probably the most heavily populated in the game right now(goons) I got in to the queue, 48th, and then about 20 seconds later, I was online.

Everyone in this thread not being able to play probably makes things a lot easier...

As I said earlier in the thread, it's matter of principal for me at this point. The best analogy being, your kids throws a tantrum at the grocery store because you didn't buy them a chocolate bar. Do you reward the bad behavior and buy it for them? No you wouldn't because you would be re-enforcing to the child that being bad = rewards. It's same thing in this situation IMO. If you reward SE with more money for another code, they will take as everything is ok and they can continue to treat their customers like garbage.

There isn't a physical merge. They strip the code or resupply the code from the wrong account and apply it to the appropriate account.

They don't "merge" accounts. They simply re-instate the reg. code from account 2 to 1 and transfer any freebies you may be entitled too at the same time (based on reports from EU players).

Yeah, but the difference between SE and a child is that the child will not feel reprimanded by bad press. It's only a matter of time before they piss the wrong people off.
