False. Both 1 or 5 still directs the address to EU support. Either the entire chat link is for EU support, or its being redirected to EU even if its for the NA queue.
Edit: And EU support is still up. No queues at the moment. Tried it and got in.

I'm NA based and I just tried 5/2 to contact the European Live Chat. I got Agent Julien and she said same as all other agents in EU, which is that EU CS can't do anything to NA based accounts. : (
Whenever it reaches my turn for live chat, it always disconnects and says no agent available. Same results after 4 or 5 tries. Anyone of a fix or a specific listing (account/billing or register code) that works? Thanks
I use additional services right under billing and payments in the sub-category for accounts. The one above it doesn't list chat support.
Kudos to all the EU players linking chats to access live chat and help everyone out.
I have tried changing the numbers and and other things in the url to try to access NA live chat but it still links to EU no matter what is changed; changing the last number to 1 or 5 is still EU.
I get through instantly on EU but of course they can do nothing.
32+ hours on the phone 21 times it hung up on me 2 times I had to go to work or sleep.
43+ hours live chat every single time no support agent available when I get to the top.
EU support almost instantly answers live chat and the phone and are very nice and cordial but, unfortunately cant do anything to NA accounts even if they ask their superiors.
I put my ticket it last weekend, submitted another on thursday. Been kicked out of chat twice. Makes me very sad that i cant play on my 4 day weekend :*(
