Hi peeps, finally a answer from SE on the forum > http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...60#post1122360

Now lets all hope that they will fix this soon..!! Meanwhile I will continue to bump the other threads also referring to this issue.

    I quote:

¨Thank you for posting your concerns about having no Cursor in Fullscreen. I have made sure to submit all of your information to the development team, and based you your report they will thoroughly investigate this matter. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that a direct response will be posted on this thread, but I do recommend checking Here or Here for any details regarding the development team's investigation. Thanks again for your report!¨

Meanwhile I have been doing some homework on this.. Here are some tips that perhaps work for some (for me they don't..):

    - Go to your control panel, then go to "mouse" and underneath "pointer options" make sure that "display pointer trails" is unchecked.

    - Under the 'Pointers' tab, uncheck 'Enable pointer shadow'.

    - Change pointer scheme to Windows Standard or Default.

    - If you are running Windows 7, or possibly Vista (not sure about vista), go into the 'Personalization' option within Control Panel, and try switching the theme from 'Aero' to 'Basic'.

    - Disable the Aero feature. Some (Older) Programs do not like Aero and will cause problems left and right.

    Right-Click on- My Computer
    Click on- Properties
    Click on- Advanced System Properties
Click on- Settings (in the Performance Section)
Click on- Adjust For Best Performance

    - playing the game in compatibility mode. To do this follow the following steps:

Right click the game's .exe file.
    Go to properties
    Go to the compatibility
Check Run this program in compatibility mode for:
Select where you wish to run it in from the dropdown menu (depending on the age of the game, you might have to try different ones, although most issues should be fixed with just using windows XP).

    - check Disable visual themes in the same menu.

    - disable desktop composition under compatibility settings.

    - Type desk.cpl in the Start Search box, and then click desk.cpl in the Programs list.
Click Advanced Settings. On the Troubleshoot tab, click Change settings. In the Display Adapter Troubleshooter dialog box, drag the Hardware acceleration slider two notches to the left of the Full setting, and then click OK three times.

Hope any (or a combination) of these tips work for some.. For me they didn't work but you never know..

You fix it. Vista is broke piece of crap. Don't be ignorant, Get Windows 7 in your own means possible. Stop bumping your thread countless times.

The OS Vista is a piece of shit and even MS knows it.

Hi Deki81, yes, it provides a huge FPS loss that's the reason we need full screen. Cheers.
