Everyone else has abilities that raise quality gain but advance synthesis but also increase difficulty. AKA NEARLY USELESS. Archers though...no...world needs more archers, right? Here have the game's dispel. That's really what overpowered ranged attackers need, right? Enemy buffs are SO annoying when you're trying to spam arrows on it!

Triple attack: Store up stamina, attacking three times less accurately. 30% less accurate, really. Also, they're not full hits they're more like 70% of a hit. Like quick nock, only with a lance and it's not as many hits. What we're saying is we think it's pretty funny I'm sure if you could see your face right now you'd be laughing too. Oh and it binds you for a lil bit. And you can only use it after a mage parries an attack. If you're behind the mage after the attack. Which is kindof funny now that you're bound there.

Hey, I'm not the class that pretty much told all meleers to sit out of the last game for 4 years. You are. I'd watch out if I were you. Tanaka always had his finger on the nuke button after what your class did to FFXI. That antelopes SPIT on you in this game when you tried to range attack them is not a coincidence.

I really don't see how you can say that a job that spends so much gil on just Arrows doesn't have a right to higher DPS than other DD that don't pay anything extra. Don't forget that there are plenty of mobs/NM's that only have cone shaped AOE and your other DD can just as easily have that "protective" spot while safely doing dmg to the mob.
So much hate, bitterness and jealousy in this thread...it's really sad.

On NMs as far as damage goes all melee DD are about the same unless you've actually played the classes yourselves or have parses to prove otherwise you're just speaking out of your ass.
Archers have a easier time on NMs because of their range not because they do more dmg because they don't. When your mages aren't busy keeping everyone alive because they're getting anal raped from aoes they have more time to recast dots and participate in BRs this makes the fights go faster so more the reason to have ranged DD. Yes Thms easily win over conjurers because of a larger healing range which makes it easier to heal from a distance, thms will be better at sticking dots and debuffs and nothing in a conjurers arsenal can even come close to chainspell shadowsear.
Tough luck people no MMORPG has perfectly balanced classes theres always going to be a FotM class jump on the bandwagon while its still rolling if thats not your thing then its your lost.

Guys why can't you just accept the fact that Peregrine is correct? History repeats itself and people need to learn from their mistakes.
In this instance, historically Peregrine has a reputation for making ignorant, opinionated posts and feels that he is always right, even when he is obviously wrong. Learn from your mistakes and ignore his asinine comments.
Also, for the record, I can't recall a time I've needed to take an archer to endgame content. We can kill things fast enough without one, and with fewer people.
I'm not going to say SE wont nerf ARC but there's a job that needs nerfing more than an ARC. And that is....you guessed it, THM. THM is the most uber job in the game. Try soloing Dodore and it's minions on a ARC. Then try it on a THM
