Someone sounds bitter. Don't like the size of your wand compared to the other guy's bow?

I don't think anyone will disagree that things need more balancing, but when keeping party dynamics in mind, playing the Archer job takes a lot more than pumping out big damage. It's called hate management, and if the archer doesn't have to keep his enmity in check, then he's just a glorified pea shooter.

I'm not speaking hypothetically here. That's what you all did in FFXI. Am I the only one who played the game when you all took to rangering ranger on your rangers?

You're not the only one, I was there too. I don't understand why you're still holding onto a grudge from 2003 though. Archers are much more balanced in XIV than they were in 2003 XI. You make it sounds as if everyone will only play Archer from here on out. It's not going to happen. It didn't happen in XI, and it won't happen now.

Yes, a lot of people did play Ranger in XI when that was the fad, but it wasn't everyone. I got plenty of parties with all that happening and still wasn't a ranger.
