I was able to get with a representative after waiting in the live chat queue.
He escalated my request and said it can take up to two weeks.
Nothing left to do except sit tight and wait!

Here's hoping SE will look at this thread and give us a grace period while the resolve itOr at least let us start using our 30 free days
2 damn weeks to get access to a service we have paid for?!?! due to a problem they have created, they really dont care about their customers at all
it takes them 2 weeks to issue a code to grant the 30 days time and delete or deactivate the 2nd accounts? more like they havent got a clue wtf they are doing, seriously its the biggest farce of a game launch ive seen in years
I got through to phone support after a 3 hour(!!) wait. Guy was really nice, helped me out, escalated and filed the ticket, and I told him about the forum thread.
The support guys seem pretty out of the loop, judging from the way he reacted. He wasn't aware of how or if any of it was being dealt with and kept telling me that the game is on day two of release, et cetera. In any case, he said they're aware of the issue and scrambling to fix it, but their staff is extremely limited.
When I told him that I'd waited for chat support three separate times for over two and a half hours only to have my session cancelled when it reached my turn, he had no response other than to say that they're swamped.
P. ridiculous, really. Why they didn't shut down registration and let people coast off early access for 4-5 hours while they fix their website at the first sign of these registration issues is kind of baffling.
For those who are unaware, by the way, Statshido on page 61, post #607, posted instructions to contact Square-Enix phone support and had this issue resolved within a day.

Just waited for a support chat, and they escalated my issue. So, I hope to have a fix soon. Was about a good 2 hour wait.

I would also like to inform everyone that my account has been corrected as well. Both service accounts still exist, however I now have my standard edition on my main service account with the 30days that is supposed to come with it. (no extra time other than the 2 days left of the EA). as a note, i never called SE support. I only talked to them via Live chat last night roughly 22-23 hours ago.
and i still think its bad they are prioritising people who phone in or have access to the NA live chat
that just pushes others down the queue
the live chat still working? when i try to use it it say to me it is closed.
