People don't pay JUST to play crafting and mini games, but it is part of the content of the game. The crafting games are a bit tedious, and I do wish that they were more advanced, but the system is fun to play with. Also, becoming a quality crafter actually should take more time to master than becoming a battle master. It's way easier to learn how to destroy things than it is to learn how to build things and build them well. A four year old with a hammer can destroy a television, but I doubt I could repair one without electrocuting myself.
