    This game is everything I wanted 1.0 to be. Yoshi p and his team should be very proud of themselves. They're freaking necromancers. They realized this games full potential and im excited for what comes next. However, I still havent heard back from customer service about my eu early access code. I had to pre order another copy. Customer service, shame on you!

    It's kind of sad how most of you keep telling people to "grow up" or whatever when you see someone with a different opinion, but really, if only world problems could be solved by tearing up a bit. When you go to Mcdonalds to eat a hamburger, do you wish to be told the entire history behind the blood and work that went into establishing mcdonalds and as a consequence not get your hamburger for 2+ days or would you just like to get your hamburger and get out?

    This is a business, no matter how you spin it or whatever the bleeding heart yields, this product did not deliver what it was supposed to deliver, end of story. You cannot possibly blame people for lashing out on not getting their hamburger can you? Especially not if you were one of the lucky ones that got to actually play during early access. And for those of you that choose to compare this to other mmo launches as your argument, why do you only compare the game to other MMOs in situations where it further elevates your own justice?

    I'm the one that titled it "final" speech, because it was the speech that ended the event Yoshi's not going anywhere, thank goodness.

    Unfortunately I lack the time to subtitle it, and the skill to do justice to what Yoshida said. Hopefully others will be able to take up on that challenge. Maybe SE themselves. They should really provide a version of the speech for the western audience.

    No matter how you spin it, on how you attempt completely unfitting comparisons in order to prove a false point. This is not a hamburger. It's an en extremely more complex product that took three years to make.

    We absolutely can blame people for lashing out in an extremely rude and borderline insane way for two days of problems, that compared to those three years and to the years this game will last are nothing.

    Saying that "this product did not deliver what it was supposed to deliver" is downright shameful, as the quality of this game is extremely high. Judging it on two days of server problems is something you should be ashamed of yourself for.

    Every MMO launch has problems, yes, but that isnt an excuse. I am seriously dissapointed at Square Enix, because the problems they have is not because of bufs or unexpected stuff, the problems they have is because they were GREEDY and setup less servers than the ones they needed.

    This is a common practice in the companies that make MMO's, because they know some part of the initial playerbase will leave soon after launch, so they buy less servers than they need and try to "fix" the prioblem with queues and login restrictions.

    So, OP, SE is to blame here, and them having to "fix servers, literally around the clock" is not real, they dont have anything to fix, they have less infrastructure than they need and that was made ON PURPOSE because its more money-efficient.

    This is a generalized practice of all the companies though, which only makes it worse.

    His emotions are high for a great number of reasons. On that list, I think our server problems are in the bottom third, if not lower. People talk a lot about American feelings of entitlement. I think we should consider another great American trait: Self-Centeredness. To think he's crying (tearing up) about our bump in the road is laughable.

    He's a great man and he's done a great thing. When the melodrama settles down -- that will be all we remember of the man.

    A bit off-topic... I haven't been able to log in Hyperion since Saturday, but when I did log in I felt very bad for part of this community . I happened to come accross a few Japanese players that apparently were there because they were playing with friends that weren't Japanese and had decided to play on a NA server. Whenever they talked in Japanese someone in the public chat would say "Get this filthy language from here" or "Get to you own server!".

    This is just way off the limits. Yes, I am VERY frustrated with the server issues, but that kind of reaction is just unecessary. I think everyone has the right to complain, but going so far as to offend the dev team in a personal level and Japanese players and people in general just feels wrong to me.

    I did complain as well and I feel bad about it now (Not like a 3 year old or with personal attacks though) , and I sincerely apologize to Joshi-P and his team.

    Are you kidding me? Alright, replace the hamburger with a car. I should be ashamed of myself? Why, because I pre ordered a game so I could get to play early access which I didn't get to play? Correct me if I'm wrong but nowhere on the "PRE ORDER NOW!" banner(s) did it state that chances of you actually playing the early access were pretty low. False advertisement, baseless statements (from you), and nothing but "I'm sorry, thank you for your support." and I should be ashamed of myself? Please tell me you jest, otherwise this is just too gold. It is people like you who ruin the so called community, try to see the world with both eyes, friend.

    If you don't care about being treated as a second rated citizen, if you don't care about lack of communication, if you don't care about genuine apologetic vibe from the developers, all you do in this situation is enable them for future misconduct. Next thing we know JP servers will receive content updates half a year prior to the rest of us.

    I don't believe these whiney kids....this launch war better than _any_ launch I have witnessed before. I feel sorry for Mr. Yoshida...don't let 'em pull you down. You did an amazing job and you know it!
