No QUEUE, just 1017. Forever.

I just hate how I bought another CE of the game to support the cause like I'm sure so many other have and am not able to play the game. I mean I'm such a fan of FF i basically payed 80 bucks for a PS3 copy almost just for the early access. Now with about 4-5 of play time it wasn't even close to worth it. On the other hand ima still be here clicking that start bottom. hope something works out soon. Just don't seem right, it's not beta no more or even Launch. It's early access which people are charged for.

To everyone complaining about not being placed in a queue to enter the world when there is an opening, there is a queue. Over the course of the last 7 hours that I've been trying to log in, I've been placed into a queue a total of three times. The thing is, every time I've been placed into a queue, I still got kicked out of it with a 1017 before actually getting in.

There having issues with this many of us, now give all the PS3 users and the PC users that haven't got a code or haven't got the game yet..... That being said i really really really really really really really really really hope that SE gets there shit together and fixes this by then although i would like to get back into EA at least once before actual release.

They need a complaining forum to post on this isn't tech support! I haven't been able to play for long either but it isn't worth getting all upset over. Go outside for a few moments, read a book, and relax.

Haven't been able to play all day. I have better things to do than spend an hour trying to log in. Maybe ten minutes, but then on to other things. Three separate times I've tried and can't get in.
Hilariously, it looks like the JP worlds couldn't be loaded for a bit. But this showed that no matter where you are, it checks for the JP worlds first because it would pause for a few seconds before letting me try to log in. That is silly. I'm in NA, it should look for those first.
Overall, the whole bit about queues and idle-outs shouldn't even be a thing. I'm sorry but if a server can only hold 5000 characters, then all 5000 should be able to log in at the same time. Period. Whatever number it is. And if you have half a million pre orders two days after the end of open beta, then you should have enough servers to accommodate that many players and more. Period.
The worst part is that 1017 is meaningless. Saying the world is full and to wait for an opening is no help at all when we have no way to tell if there is an opening.

I was being optimistic earlier and not going post anything about this situation in hopes they would get a handle on things, "I figured hey things happen just give them time to fix it" right?

Early access started yesterday, we have had multiple issues all of which I understand takes time to fix. However today has been worse than beta, I got on earlier today got a 1 level in before 90000 kicked me out. Then i find that we have to wait do to emergency maint. (ok cool) after said maint. i find im in the same boat as many here unable to play at all do to the severe limit on players logging in (No queue, No ability to log in as sometime the servers list doesn't update at all) essentially turning everyones early access to a few hours of gameplay withi the past few days.

Then you get on the forums only to see ppl defending these unacceptable issues. I have pretty much given up on EA as its been two days and ive been successfully online a total of 5-6 hours within the past two days. I am at this point worried about what my money has got me as we are less than a day and a half away from the official launch of the game, I want to remain hopeful but sadly things are just not good, I can't even recommend this to my friends interested in playing as I myself can't even play long enough to slightly advance the story!

I think that this situation is their fix.

Yes, please bring back the queue at least. I understand there's congestion issues, but if we could at least get in the 'waiting room' and not have to keep trying to log in over n over it'd be much nicer. Also, I think we should as a group put pressure on people at this time to not just sit on the game - if you know you're going to be afk for awhile please logout! - maybe even, just til the congestion/server issues are repaired, auto kick players inactive for an hour or so....
