SE dropped the ball

I have to admit I was pretty pissed when the maps started not loading properly and the labeling would not show up and then slightly more pissed when I was apparently not getting experience for fighting (it turns out latter is was just a major lag and took forever to show up). Then I found out about the maintenance for 2.5 hours this afternoon and I about lost it. I planned my whole day around this Frigging game (had the wife out of the house with the twins) and I was ready to just play...then NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! But thinking about everything rationally I can understand and know they will get it up and running...just sucks for all of us. Overall I have had a good experience and I did not experience any of the Dungeon issues and I got to run up through Copperbell Mines. I took this time off to do some chores around the house and rewatch the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen...AWESOME!!!

To those saying instances not working isn't a big deal needs to just go away because it is a big deal. If you can't do any instances, you can't play most of the game. That is game breaking in my book. And the majority have this problem, which means that the majority of players are not playing right now until they hear that this is no longer an issue. Also, it is not congestion because I tried getting into Bowl of Embers like 5-10mins after servers came back up and still got the error.

2.0 is just a beta for 3.0. If you haven't dealt with SE's 3 +2 +2 hour maintenance before, now is the time to cope with it.

It made me laugh when I heard Yoshi P say they're calling the first expansion 3.0, made me think of them remaking the game again alongside 2.0.

6 hours of maintenance, Duty Finer is still iffy, some major Quest NPCs are broken, almost there SE.

Hopefully they learned that using 1 server for all of the NA servers; to handle changing zones = big fail

I think the problem is MMO releases havent been as bad as they used to be. Its not an understood problem anymore. Since WoW, I havent really been in an unplayable release. Sure, theyd have problems with queues and even a little lag or isolated incidents ... but at least I have never had it where I cant continue and servers go down 2-3 times a day.
