I wish all the people complaining would hurry up and leave already.

Wow. Talk about whining and moaning.
I participated in Beta Phases 3 and 4 without any problems. Was able to enter my code before the start of Early Access. Had zero problems with Early Access, including instance issues. All from right here in Nashville, Tennessee.
I've had it perfect. If you haven't, that means you're clearly not awesome enough, and therefore every one of your arguments is worthless.
All hail S-E! All hail Yoshi-P!
The issues and two maintenance periods already may be annoying, true (I was affected both by instance issues and error 90000 myself). That being said, though, I think SE is doing a great job trying to fix this, and I am impressed by them being open when it comes to communication.
Both maintenances had plenty of warning beforehand. We got additional update on the progress in the meantime. And last but not least, the fact that they have taken the servers down twice already shows that THEY ARE REALLY PUTTING EFFORT INTO FIXING THIS. I'm a software developer myself, so I know how hard it is sometimes to get rid of some persistent bugs. Therefore all I have to say here is: kudos for your hard work, SE! And lets hope this is fixed for good soon.
The level of entitlement people like you have is astounding.
Stop thinking everything has to be perfect all the damn time. It's an MMO launch, these things never go 100% smooth and it's a shame that people like you try and diminish the amount of work that's went into making this game what it is over it.
At least we're not in the dark like Phase 4. But to those claiming this is "the smoothest launch I've experienced" then you apparently don't play many mmos at launch. This is the worst I've experienced.
I assume most people are testy (myself included) because of how short Phase 4 turned to be when it was suppose to be 1-2 weeks to ensure the game was ready for launch. The level of entitlement people like you have is astounding.

My accounts are linked, im not sure what everyone else is talking about. When i was finally able to log on this morning it had a list of things attached to my account.... FFXIV ARR (PC) was one of them and i have the PS3 also. Since beta 3 Ive been playing on both to test both but i play the PC more because the gfx are 1mil times better. If someone knows why some can not attach there accounts and others can please do.
BTW im Legacy, so that might factor into why i can play both since it was PC only during 1.x.
On the contrary, you apparently don't play many mmos at launch if you think this is the worst you've experienced LOL.
Never had any problems and that's playing from EU on an NA server.
Everything prior to EA was expected. That was beta. Bugs pop up. It happens.
Gutted I can't play just now just like everyone else. But I'd rather they closed the servers to sort it out.
It's gonna have its problems to start with like every other game. Just keep with it![]()
Thank you for asking my opinion =) I feel that the team handling FFXIV have been professional, courteous, and extremely hard working. I am frustrated that I cannot play today as much as I would like and have to work 13 hours tomorrow. But I feel that this release has, while not error free, been one of the better ones I've seen in my 17 years of playing MMOs. So I'd like to say I am happy to be playing such an awesome game and that has a team that is working hard to back it up. That's my opinion =)
