duty finders affecting solo instances for quests

Any reason to why the duty finder would affect solo instances for quests? on Ragnorak the duty finder is not working and can not even complete the story line quests because a solo instance shares the same instance.. anyone else having this problem or know a way to fix it?

same problem.. is annoying. thought this new server infrastructure was meant to be an improvement over 1.0. i dont remember problems like this or having to queue to even log into my server in 1.0 #frustration

The duty finder server serves instances as well, it appears.

It appears all instances on the NA/EU servers are broken. So now im stuck and cannot continue the storyline. Time to fill out the hunting log.

Ive done the hunting logs to lvl 2 on 4 different classes, and progressed to lvl 20 on 4 classes. Now stuck on 2 unfinishable class quests, and the mainstoryline, so that I cant unlock a new dungeon. Im spending the first day in game grinding battle-leves, and decided that wasnt fun. Logged off. Will be back when I can do the things I enjoy in the game rather than resorting to repeatable "boring" content. - also, was stuck for 25 mins outside the archer class quest instance, because of some error. Exited the game and spent more time in the Q.

I've been stuck for well over 20 minutes loading a solo instance because of a duty finder issue that should have absolutely nothing to do with this. Why are solo instances even linked with the duty finder? I guess this is also why we're locked from LS/tell chats even in a solo instance? Seriously, it's so damn dumb...
