Thankfully in a few days discussions like this will be but a distant memory. I can't wait.

i am legacy and bought the CE edition in 2010 , so i am CE , so that being my error forgetting to mention it in my post lol.
And yes preorder in 1.0 was used already on the 1.0 release so is not valid anymore for 2.0
dear lord i cant wait for this weekend to be over so threads like this can STOP!
My guess the reason why se only allowed legacy players n not 1.0 is b/c anyone can claim that they bought 1.0 ce. As far as they know, players could have bought it this year n was hoping that they would get EA. So by having just legacy players granted EA, it wasn't hard for se to determine if these players didn't buy the game this and/or just playing the game just to receive EA.
I'm an 1.0 player (that bought it 2010) n I respect the move that they did, which is why I pre-order the game, thus granted EA.
if you dont like those posts then why are you here ?.
noone said you have to be here and read it .. you are free to skip these posts so you wont irritate yourself on them , if you did read it then don't come whining in here about ending these posts
Yeah, this was one of the reasons I knew about. I knew people buying the game, CE even, for $5 far after it released. I mean, sure, they could start filtering by date of code application, play time, if they paid 1-2 months without getting legacy, what have you, but it honestly would become a chore to do so.My guess the reason why se only allowed legacy players n not 1.0 is b/c anyone can claim that they bought 1.0 ce. No, I think you have issues understanding. As much as people want to think it's the same game, to validate your argument, it's too different to be so. I pre-ordered the 1.0 CE, I got early access in 2010 for 1.0. I do not, at all, expect them to give it to me now. It's childish to think you deserve it just for buying the game back then. But it's ok that someone bought 1.0 for $5 after the fact, not even a pre-order, and should get Early Access to 2.0? That's not how it works. The game is a blur between a new game and a rebuilt game, but the line has been drawn, and it's enough of a new game to invalidate your "wants"You don't seem to understand. They bought the game around two years ago, so they should be able to play just like the pre-orderers. We should all get the new pre-order items too.
Clearly SE treating the people that spent money on 1.0 poorly is not good PR for the new people coming in, especially the wary ones expecting this new version to be as bad as the last version.

This thread is exactly why we can't have nice things.
I paid for two months in 2012. I'm saying it would be NICE if Players that PAID $$$ for Subscription... PERIOD... should get EA. Just the ones that PAID Subscription. But no biggy. Just saying it would be a NICE Yoshi-Claus gift to join ya'll on the 24th. Yoshi-mas in August. Welcome back everyone! Woohoo! Can't wait. Gonna get my Summoner on a.s.a.p! haha
Also, please read Ralos' "T'was the night before EA". That will open up your heart. haha

IF you already bought the game, regardless, you should be able to get into EA. I'm legacy but feel any pre-owner should start with EA since you technically pre-ordered the game years ago.
