    Still cannot quickly see if my debuffs are on enemies.

    I thought I would bring over my thread from the beta forum regarding this topic.

    I feel like it is still too hard to see my personal debuffs on targets when there are a lot of other people around (FATEs) or in dungeons (and later, the 8-24 man raids will be the same).

    Here is an example from the open beta:

    I appreciate SE adding the light green color to help us see which buffs are ours, but this isn't enough. For me, it takes my eyes a few seconds to even adjust to looking for the light green color. Not to mention, some people are colorblind and have issues seeing specific colors (like red/green). I also realize the above example is a special case because of all the Arcanists, but I feel like it will still be a problem in dungeons and raids when you add more and more people (especially the 24 man raids which would probably have multiple of the same classes).

    My suggestion is to:

    1) Put all personal debuffs always on the left so they show up first.
    2) Increase the size of your personal debuffs on enemies slightly. Doesn't have to be huge or anything, but enough that I could glance up and quickly see how many I have up currently. Giving us the option to choose the size of our personal debuffs would be helpful as well or even letting us separate them completely from other people's so we can put them in a different location.


    Another suggestion that someone came up with on the beta forums:

    1) Do all of the above, but have a separate window for your own debuffs (which would be optional).

    Please don't pay much mind to my terrible photoshop skills, but I tried to make it how I think would be a bit easier to differentiate your debuffs from others. Maybe not the blue color I used, but just an outline around each of your own debuffs or something like that.

    I increased the size of my personal debuffs by 30% (so 130%), put a blue outline around each one as well, and removed the time-remaining on debuffs by other people (optional).

    Anyways, to sum up:

    1) The current debuff UI system does not allow you to glance up quickly and see which debuffs you have on your enemies when in a large group setting.

    2) Always place your personal debuffs on the left side of the debuff list and enlarge them slightly. Optional: Put an outline around your debuffs as well as remove the seconds from the other peoples debuffs. Again, that last part is optional, but I feel like it would allow for even quicker reads so you can get back to your rotation.

    These are all very sound ideas. very well thought out and i love how you added an example. I agree with the suggested implementation if it is not too hard to implement dev team ^^ thanks

    Totally agree with this, I also had problems distinguishing my debuffs over others at quick glace.

    I totally agree. It's a challenge to see your debuffs at times. A border and changing the green text to a bright Red or Orange would help. Not a fan of the larger icons as it breaks the symmetry.

    Very well thought out feedback, I like the idea to remove other peoples timers and having your buffs first in line as this makes total sense.

    Eeh... I don't quite like the removal of the timer on the other debuffs OR the outline. The removal of other's can be problematic if your choice of action is dependant on the other's debuffs and even if it is just a matter of five seconds planning two or three moves ahead is important if you got combos going.
    And the outline is just ugly. I don't even mean your choice of color or thickness or whatnot, it's just... Regardless of the chosen color it will look like a deeply disparaging element with the rest of the UI. The green timer already does that.

    The idea of increased size and organizing your own debuffs in the start of the list first is a good idea, however. That alone should do it.

    And man single-boss FATEs in Limsa were amazing, two or three rows of debuffs

    good idea and i have something to add

    instead of having 5 icons from the same debuff it will be easier to just stack them all in 1 icon with small number of the stack count

    Well as I said in the OP, the outline and removing the time remaining of others debuffs would be optional. The biggest thing that would help is moving your personal debuffs to the front of the list and changing the color from light green (it's just too similar to the regular color for me). Maybe a size increase, but that could also be optional.

    lol, yeah, the bosses in Limsa FATEs were insane with all the DoTs. :P

    It's also difficult for me to decipher if the effects on my team members are good effects or bad ones. I would love to know when to use esuna..
