I just linked my account as well, is there any way to add a second service account to a psn id though? I have 2 accounts and it is just grayed out when I try to change my username.

You can only link one PSN account to your SE account. You'll need to create another PSN account if you want to link a second SE account.

Please note that only one Sony Entertainment Network account can be linked to a Square Enix account, which allows up to eight service accounts.

Working here as well. Although a random character I made on another server was showing under option rather than my main, probably doesn't matter just interesting.

I just linked my account but there was no 1.8gb file to download? Just said i couldn't play till early access.

same as above, linked account, showed all my subscriptions on the service account i wanted, then went straight to cannot play till early access or release.

also, anyone know if you can check your services through your actual account, i remember seeing services like alpha, beta access on my account, but now i dont see any of those, and havent for a while, not just since beta finished.

When I went to link my account on ps3, under the option for character it had another character that wasn't my main, anyway to change it so its my main, or maybe it doesn't matter? Just want to make sure I do it right and not like lock my main out of EA.

Those of you saying it didn't update, were you launching from the Beta 4 client? If so, there wouldn't be an update. The 1.8GB is the update you had to apply before that beta.

No I downloaded the full client yesterday with my pre-order code, ive never played PS3 beta. The extra 1.8GB download appeared today after account linking was complete.

Linked the PS3 Account to my 1.0 CE legacy Se Account (what a name) and got the 1.86gb update. It listed the FFXIV PC version CE and every item like the behemoth thing etc. But not the PS3 version only PC (which i dont mind because im gonna be on PC) but this sort of shows that it does not matter because as long as it is in your SE Account you can play on whichever you want just not at the same time.
