My Kwehzacotl gets lots and lots of love. He's my Buddy who stood by my side, every step of the way. We loved to travel all over Eorzea and we will continue to do till the end of our days. (^_~ )

Soon, we will be accompanied by others, for instance Biswark, the Legacy Chocobo.

I was actually under the impression our current chocobos will become legacy ones and we'll get a new standard one. That would kinda make more sense to me :x

I personally think you will get an extra mount, in this case the Legacy Chocobo. The reason why i think that would be this:

What if, you have played the game but never gotten the Chocobo License, since you could teleport everywhere (as long as you had enough Anima to teleport). If your current Chocobo would be converted to a Legacy Chocobo, then you would need to have gotten a Chocobo License and a Chocobo from the stables before you would be able to get the Legacy Chocobo.

If that was the case, then SE would have informed people that this would be the case, just like the Goobbue mount. The Goobbue mount was only a limited time offer. If you missed it, then it would be "tough luck". I don't think that this will be the case for the Legacy chocobo.

I also believe that you would be able to get a Legacy Chocobo for each character you make, even new characters you create in 2.0. If you've registered the Asuran Gloves item (the code which was packed with Final Fantasy XIII), each character you made got those gloves. It will most likely the same with the new 2.0 pre-order/CE In-game items. (^_^ )
