Awww all 1.0 characters get that ; ;.
That being said, again I want to apologise if my response to your thread read a bit harsh, it really wasn't my intention but sometimes it can be hard to correctly set the tone in writing and have it interpreted as intended D:.
Thank you for being so polite, even amidst the sea of negativity and I hope that even without legacy status you will continue to have great times in 2.0 ^^

I was expecting hard truths and I know how to ignore trolls but your wasn't trolling. I understand now the reasons for the promotion (funding) and honestly didn't remember only paying 1 month before it went free until they worked all the kinks out (original release). The money was never really an issue. I'm sure I received the original e-mail about Legacy but probably ignored it because I was still burned out from the hours and hours of grinding out crafts. I returned because my friend was playing again and I love FF. I had no issues with paying again and was unaware of how much I had spent or for how long on the second go around. I did the math and found out I was subscribed for 92 days (on the second go) so I started the research on why I wasn't Legacy.
If I would have known it was for funding the re-release I wouldn't have had a problem paying them for 3 months even in September.
I'm glad I made the post even with all the heat it brought on because now I know.
And knowing is half the battle....GI JOOOOOE!
I was just a few weeks off from Legacy status when they stopped billing, wayyyy before the servers went offline. I was sad. At least I got a gobbue, crown, and dalmud horn before the end.
Here we go again..
Ok, this line made me giggle XD
You're so cool Ouchmaker lol, I wish that others who have had gripes with the legacy system could addressit as politely and as constructively as you have. It'd definitely make the forums a nicer place to be.
Have a wonderful day!

SHUT.
UP.
I'm so glad there are people that still post constructively. (fuschia and italics work as a good sarcasm font?)
OP has already come to the realization that they're not going to obtain legacy, but you don't see OP flaming you guys for not feeling the same way they do.
I know the subject has been beaten to death in the past but let's take the high road for once guys, because posts like this only make you look bad.

You as well =)
Let's see...
People knew how to get Legacy. It was spelled out very, very clearly many times by Square Enix.
We all knew we had to pay for at least 3 months of subscription in the short time that was available.
Those who did that, got Legacy. Those who chose to abandon the game, did not get Legacy.
If you didn't end up qualifying for it, it's YOUR OWN FAULT. Too late to cry about it now.
I'm sick of seeing these ridiculous entitlement threads.
