Just like the NA side some JP players not happy with how the new live event is taking place how it's completely random, timing is random, location is random, and on top of that you have 16 player limit so they started a thread talking about it and Rep responded to this one.

最後の郡民は通常のクエストと は異なり、ライブイベントに属するものです。何人かの方が推察されている通り、ライブイベントとは突発的・断続的に発生する局所的な現象、と言う位置づけ のものです。システム的なものと、ゲーム内スタッフが介在するものとが含まれ、発生時間不定、発生場所不定です(よく見ると定期的に見えなくも無い場合が ありますが、一応不定です)。
The current content is different from a quest and it's related to the live event. Few have mentioned for live event it's something that happens suddenly there are some which are done through the system and some which staff actually does in-game. The location and timing is unknown it may look at specific time but it's generally unknown.
最後の郡民の他にもライブイベントが存在します。どういう物が幾つあるかと言う点は、非公開です。
Also there are other live events, what kind and how many is disclosed information.
参加したくても参加出来ていない、と言う方には全く申し開きも無いのですが…そういう事もある代物です。
There are those who want to participate but can't, for those I apologize but please understand there are these type of events as well.
取 れないヒストリーが出る、と言う点も仰る通りなのですが…これは「期間限定コンテンツ全般」の命題になると思います。なので、ここでは深く触れないでおき たい話ですが、ライブイベントではヒストリーしか発生せず、アチーブメントは発生していない事だけお知らせしておきます。
You're right that you can't obtain the history because of this but this is a limited time content. It doesn't affect the achievement and only history so please don't worry about that as well.
Some players not happy with this response. I responded they could at least increase the frequency instead of having 2-3 times per day with 16 players limit per run.

パッチ1.19より3都市の冒険者ギルドやマーケットの一部ストリートに、

これは、初心者の方が装備をすぐに購入できるようにするためです。
In patch 1.19 we added NPC's that sells new players equipments in adventure guild or in markets. This was done to make it possible for new players to buy equipment right away.
そのうえで、購入するギルがなかなか貯まらないので買うことができない!ということであれば、
クエストやギルドリーヴなどの取得ギル額を増やすのではなく、
上記アイテムを販売してくれるNPCの販売価格を緩和する調整を検討していきます。
If with that it's still hard to buy because you can't obtain gil, instead of increasing the quest/guild leve rewards we will look into adjusting the price of equipment sold by the NPC.

This one was a waste of valuable rep response... but anyways..

Rep Response - 01/17/12 DEX+ and Block proc rate

By increasing MND it is true that you can increase the amount of items you can obtain.
However if you're at a cap/limit by increasing more wont increase the amount so you may feel that you're amount haven't increased even after increasing the MND. (since it's over the cap)

Gobbue can be obtained no matter what class as long as it's over level 30 and talking to a specific NPC. For more details please check the patch notes.

Rep Resopnse - 01/18/12 Remove color dye recipe from Recipes
JP side is asking to remove the color dye recipe from recipe book since it just takes up space and you can lose the main synth items recipe you want to keep in the recipe book. Here's the response to this one.

It's possible to make it where it doesn't save the recipe for color dye recipes.

If you played some fighting games you will know what they are talking about for this one. Since we got combo system in game they wanted to see if the devs can add a mini-game like feature where you have a dummy to test/practice your actions or combo's

We still can't move specific items to another item slot on our own and JP side asked when will this be possible since in 2010/11/11 (JP) they said they will make this possible and it still hasn't. Just to note... the info where they said it will be made possible was posted by the OLD team.

Yes, the plan for 2.0 there are several 5x5 bags and you can freely distribute the item to any bag on top of that within the 5x5 bag you can sort by type, or move the item to any position within the bag as well.
Rep Response - 01/19/12 Forum - Full site on Mobile devices
This one isn't super important so wont add it on the OP.
When you're using your mobile device to view this site the mobile view isn't really friendly so what lots of people do, including me is that we check it on Full Site mode but the problem is once you get into full site mode unless you log out of delete your cookie it will never go back to the mobile view. Most of the time it doesn't really matter since full is still much better imo but some want to go back to mobile view without logging out of deleting cookies so Triairy responded with the following.

Thread OP is saying the NPC pops up on screen slow and sometimes the PC will show up before the NPC. At same time for some players they will see the NPC while others are still waiting for the NPC to pop up so wants to know if the dev team is closely maintaining the priority in these NPC/PC

On 17th was sad you couldn't throw snowballs anymore.
I really liked throwing the snow ball so making it a limited season was too good to take out.
Might already planning this but would like similar motions for other seasons like February throw beans (Japanese seasonal event where you throw beans at demons and some inside your house to bring luck) and March flower ball (Japan has a event called Hanami where you picnick around Cherry Blossom tree I think this was in March... don't remember been a while lol)

投げるモーション自体を定常的に開放することは可能です。
ただ、投げるものがないと意味がありませんので、

It's possible to make the throwing motion a regular/standard motion but if there isn't anything to throw there isn't any meaning so we would like to look into stuff you can throw that give the seasonal feeling as a set.

たとえば頭に紙吹雪を散らすとか、今後も前向きに検討していきます。
We will also look into other motions other than throwing where you can tease others a little like dropping confetti on someone elses head (colored papers?? not sure if confetti is right word sorry.)
