jusr give us a personal dps tracker

console players STILL waiting on a personal dps parser (just shows ones own dps).., parsing and fflogs are just part of the (raiding) reality in ffxiv, .. as its used hard in the discussions atm around dps balancing etc.

... but console players are discriminated..

... nothing should change in concerns to "abuse / mobbing" with parsers, ... and it truly wouldn\\\\'t change, if console players could get their own legal parser.

... this is something waaaay overdue, ... the last "excuses" Yoshi called out on, are totally unrealistic (players still look up other players dps fflogs, they will stll shut you out of statics,.. just instead of saying directly in game chat, they say it indirectly in discord.. , just cause the 1-5% playstation get a personal parser will not add to more / less abuse)

... and its a pain, console players are dependent on pc players, for uploades or any other infos

disappointed, that this is not getting more attention.., even if atleast pc players feeling for us console players
... and Yoshi should REALLY go with the time, .. and were only asking forca personal dps parser interface, that can be turned off / on
... playes can than decide themselves if they wish it on or off
....ifs starting to hurt, seeing Yoshi not even consider it atm, while the reality is, every raider with access to a parser already uses it

It's not getting more attention because it's not worth discussing again.

That's just the results from the UI/UX forum. There are another seven pages of results from the General forum.

The dev stance is clear: Yoshi-P doesn't want to add this in game. Even if it's "optional" and "personal", the players will make it mandatory and require people to share their numbers. See this translation of a Feb 2020 broadcast:

I'm aware there will be people using it to calculate personal numbers, but I know you'll see this in party finders: "Only join if you can prove you can dps xxx amount." We never want that to happen. We've said this many times, but we will not make a built-in ACT system.

It'd be nice, and I've argued in favor over the years, but 1) It'd be too little too late to try competing with ACT at this point, the ship has sailed and ACT/FFLogs are more feature-complete than SE could feasibly make first party.

    2) Rongway is right, Yoshi P has a vision of what would happen were parsers made first party and even if we may disagree with that vision, it is his house, and it is his rules.

I personally find this statement of yoshi-p completely ridiculous, as clearly stated it’s a personal dps meter, also this statement is completely out of touch with the reality, as a huge part of the community already uses fflogs. Just make requiring to prove your dps a bannable offense.
I find this one of the weirdest statements I ever heard from a developer as it’s so obviously clear that ther already is a third party tool available that is tolerated and widely used.

Stop tolerating fflogs and make it fair for everyone and implement a personal in game dps meter so u have more control over how it will be used.
